With Christmas not far away I was about to suggest we went to the Auction Room Aire until you mentioned the animals, I’m veggie so wouldn’t have liked it at all but thanks so much for mentioning this.👍

Great vlog guys but what a shame about your Nighthawk...right expensive as well 😢 We lived in York, well just outside in Strensall for 3 years so were really excited to reminisce ❤ We love the Shambles and cobbled streets ❣️ The park and ride was a great option, and definitely cheaper than parking in town. Great vlog, shame about your nighthawk, easy done though & ulez are a nightmare. We were in York on the same day as you, we stayed at Cross Keys pub, has bus stop right next to it, it's on s4s. If you go again book a free walking tour of York, very informative, went to places we wouldn't have found on our own. Looking forward to your next vlog 😊

How do you manage to see out of the windscreen when you're lying down driving

Excellent as always you two, little tip. If you stop at skipsea sands, don't pay the bar prices in there, on the way in you pass a little social club, alot cheaper for a drink. Only thing is you will have to sit outside with the dogs. Enjoy your travels guys.

Hi, any tips on keeping your motorhome clean with your two dogs? I've got a large gold retriever. He loves muddy puddles! The bigger the better! We are going to be a motorhome ower next year. Any advice would be so appreciated.

Sorry about your disastrous start... But York is lovely... You asked about the railings with them been cut down just a leave the stump!! I dont know about them but when I were little all the houses around were like this and I was always lead to believe that they were cut down in the war to make bullets!! I dont know if this is right because at the same time I had been told about the tooth fairy and Santa claus.. So does anyone else know!!? Great blog... I have a story about Skipsea too but I'll tell you both on your video that I'm sure you will share with us... Stay safe Kim x

The railings were all cut down for their steel for WW2 for tanks and weapons

Sheffield really don’t want people coming into town with the stupid ULEZ charges and the traffic calming ideas the council come up with beggers belief 😩 if your around the East coast there is a fantastic beach called Fraisthorpe with fantastic views, the cowshed does nice coffees, cakes etc and you can walk all the way to Bridlington on the beach with the dogs. It’s a bit of a single track with passing places but worth it ❤ our 2 labs love it

Sorry to hear about the expense guys …..glad you liked York we’ve stayed a number of times great city….As an aside you mentioned the ULEZ charge was because you are a motor home that’s not strictly true it’s because your vehicle is Euro 5 and not Euro 6 as the reason for the charge ….So I believe every where you go that has a Zone you will have to pay ☹

I'm guessing you are spending 3 months or so in the UK then thinking of going back to Europe?, I would love to know how much you have spent in the 3 months in the UK, site fees, fuel the lot.I remember you did a 3 month cost on your last Europe trip would be great to see a 3 month UK cost, I suspect the UK would be a few thousand more, but would love to be proved wrong.

What a disaster! Unfortunately, I’m sure we’ve all done something similar and left something behind or lost something while travelling and although it is an expensive mistake, we do learn from it. However it doesn’t Make it any less a bitter pill to swallow though. I wanted Wi-Fi in the motorhome but was so reluctant to pay lots of money in case it didn’t really work very well so tried a £45 ZTE NiFi box and while it worked okay sometimes it did require moving around inside the motorhome to get a better signal. I resolve this with a £15 antenna from Amazon, which plugs straight into the TS9 sockets on the router and with a 2 m cable simply attach it to either a window or a skylight, using the already attached sucker on the antenna. Amazingly, this seems to work really well and gets us a great signal in most locations and best of all, even while travelling along down the motorway. so for £60, we have motorhome Wi-Fi that’s always inside the van and works a treat.
