the angst of the immortal pupper is so good, like that one dog movie except the pup wakes up again and their previous owner is long dead. and this goes on and on until its super wise that it can raise a child or smth. pup grows into mr. peabody
3:51 my dad planted a pear blossom tree the day my mom gave birth to me. He told me when I was much younger and it was just a sapling- "that's your tree. You'll get to grow up alongside it." a couple recessions, a failed business venture, alcoholism, worsening disabilities for both of my parents and 3 houses later and before I knew it, I haven't seen that tree in thirteen years. Just recently, my mom drove me back over to our first house. It's still there in the front- and so is the one they planted for my sister. It's still pretty small. So... I guess I have even more growing to do.
My grandpa started a tradition where he planted a tree every time one of his grandkids were born. Mine is a big beautiful oak tree that has broken the sign with my deadname on it at least three times until grandpa gave up on labelling it. My eldest brother on the other hand no longer has a tree because it was ran over once and knocked down during a storm twice. Knowing these two things brings me great joy because I’m trans and my eldest brother is the biggest asshole and bigot I’ve ever met. It’s like the trees are trans allies
That’s amazing, and at first I was like :0 then at the end with the big reveal I yelled ‘YAAY!!’ like :D! Amazing trees, nature, and grandpa - a win/win/win!
I knew I had ADHD, but thanks to that one part in the video I now understand why that specific thing happens with me, as I didn't know it was one of the symptoms of ADHD.
Youd be surprised how many mental and psychological disorders are misdiagnosed by people who have had little to no training in the field, much less even know anyone who actively practices such vocations. I know you dont feel okay. But hey, its okay. I dont feel okay either. You're not alone. You already fit in with the rest of us. Everything is in a state of constant flux, that is how it is supposed to be. People do different things for different reasons, and with most things in this world there isnt really a universal correct way of doing something, regardless of what it seems or what the zeitgeist assumes. You dont need a reason, or an excuse, you have nothing to explain, you dont need a warning label. No one is judging you. Out of 8 billion people on this planet you are the only you. The only person uniquely qualified to know what is actually in your best interest. So just be the best you that you can be. I believe in you. 😎👍 Everything will be just fine..... ....Except society, thats fucked.... but hey, its not our fault. And there is nothing we can meaningfully do about it. So its okay. Enjoy the raising flames of our cultural downfall, Ill bring the marshmallows😁
19:21- I actually LOVE this idea. I kinda want to make a dragon whose true hoard is their cabinet of fine spices, extracts, etc., and they both and admire Halflings because they see them as their greatest culinary rivals.
The dragon’s character arc is complete when they become friends with the Halfing and they share recipes and invite each other over for tea and dinners constantly.
19:11 There was a book I read that kind of did this, I'm not sure how well-known it is, but it's called Dragon Slippers. It's actually a 3 part series, but I've only read the first 2 and just found out there was a third book. The dragons still had hoards, but the thing about the hoards being all treasure and gold was sort of like a generalization and it turned out that dragons all collected different things that they liked the most. One dragon collected shoes, another collected stained glass windows, and another collected dogs. Like literally just had hundreds of pet dogs that he would take care of. So a dragon hoarding books or orphan children that they raised and treated as their own children wouldn't be outside of the realm of possibility.
See, I can differentiate half a dozen different sounds at once. But that's running on core 3, while language processing is handled on core 2 along with planning and anxiety, and that always has a backlog.
the tree post just gave me an idea: in a world where trees are born alongside humans, if a human dies, the tree dies; if the tree is cut down the human dies, one day the main character finds their tree and protects with as much as they can because a group of assassins figured out which tree was their family members and cut them
Haha, the gnome meat guy's name is Bud Dwyer. For those who don't know, Bud Dwyer was the the treasurer of Pennsylvania. He was accused of corruption and others in office basically threw him under the bus. He blew his brains out on live tv. The video has been an imfamous gore video for decades and, 90s ebm band, Filter wrote a mainstream hit song about it called "Hey Man, Nice Shot".
The Wikipedia vandalism one reminds me of the time I stumbled across the article on a particular species of big jungle cockroach (Blaberus giganteus) that someone had vandalized with random silly stuff. Some bits I remember: "they are so large that Brazilian children ride them instead of using school buses" and "if you have one in your house, it can act as your personal chef."
On the ADHD thing- so THAT is why I live in perpetual mess despite keeping barbie shoes and my earrings in labeled left/right bags and getting unreasonably angry if someone switches them or removes them and doesn't keep them straight!? I'm not even diagnosed. My mom straight out refused to get me assessed when the elementary school suggested it. I came close to failing 6th grade except one teacher, who taught both math and English, realized I kept zoning out and started calling on my when I started to stare at posters or out the window. He probably saved both my academic career and my life, because chronic bullying triggered multiple mental illnesses that same year and being good at academics despite all the chaos in my head was all I had. That and my dog. My sister has now been diagnosed, and we have almost all ADHD symptoms in common, except she is somehow able to keep her place fairly neat. I honestly have no idea how anyone does it. My normal filing system is "put it down somewhere, perhaps in a pile, and deal with it whenever I get around to it on my own, which may take months to several years, or am forced to deal with it."
Hey. Just so you know. I love you. A bunch of people like us love you. It's really hard, we know, but it doesn't matter, because we love you as you are. And one day, you'll find someone like you, and you'll love them. And you'll realise you can also love yourself. Even if you're a mess. Because we all are. But you're a beautiful mess.
20:02 Black dragons are far more streamlined and are able to breathe all of the above at once Also, now I'm picturing an audiovisual hydra that's got a red head, a yellow head, and a white head.
that post about Kris in Undertale made me ralise something... you know that goner npc that talks about "a universe where you don't exist and everything works perfectly fine without you" ? kris, he's not present in Undertale. this is how they would feel like if they visited Undertale.
It negates all damage if you successfully use it to block, however it will instead deal 1 d4 (2 d4 on blocking critical damage) of psychic damage with every hit to everyone who is unfortunate enough to hear it.
This reminds me of the sword that screams every time you swing it, with the scream volume directly related to how fast you swing the poor thing. I wanna make an oathbreaker Paladin equipped with the screaming sword and moaning shield now. Just feels right.
I have ADHD and I agree with the post about visual back ground noise ,I cleaned up my Pokemon card mess just to put the bag full of Pokemon card mess where the original mess was to then just start a new pile of Pokemon card mess right next to the bag full of Pokemon card mess .
0:41 That's a thing. Read Multiversity: Society of Super Heroes, it has a superhero version of Anthro, the first man, as an immortal superhero who has been alive for thousands of years. His archnemesis is of course Vandal Savage, an immortal neanderthal supervillain. In Young Justice cartoon, it's instead Vandal Savage who serves this role, as he has been a score of mythical heroes (from Marduk to Blackbeard), it's just his morality is so ancient what made him a hero in ancient times makes him a villain in the modern times.
On the Marvel side, there's Avengers 1 Million BC, which is a prehistoric team of superheroes made up of the first Black Panther of the Panther tribe, a caveman with the power of Starbrand, Ghost Rider who rides a mammoth, and Odin before he was a king.
Also on the Marvel side, mutants in waves every couple of generations. Apocalypse was a mutant in ancient Egypt who could absorb the power of other mutants, including immortality. Wolverine was born in the 1800s but his rapid regeneration lets him live a super long time.
I like to think I’m able to guess when a binge compilation will come out based on the lengths of the videos released in-between, but honestly every video is a pleasant surprise to my day despite your very regular posting schedule 😂
I bloody love captain caveman, i'd say he deserves to be as popular as Scooby Doo but seeing as Velma happened, i think i'm happy with how obscure it is.
The Inmortal Pupper reminds me of homebrew I’ve read about. It’s gimmick is that even when it reaches maturity, it will always look like a puppy. It has stupidly high charisma and advantage on everything related to its cuteness. It can even use a variant of mage armor except it is based on charisma rather than dexterity. However, this monster is capable of aging entities it had charmed to sustain itself. You will rapidly age, but you would never notice and it’s cuteness compels you to protect and care for it at all costs, even if it’s cuteness magic let’s it take care of you and itself. You think it is a helpful little guy, but it is secretly the cutest and most vicious little parasite you will ever encounter.
As much as I love how Mulaney’s voice sounds over Papyrus I don’t think I’d be able to make it through a movie with my favorite comfort character from the darkest part of my life being voiced by someone who shared his platform with a transphobe
Simply being in the same room as someone who stole from cvs one time is now high crimes and treason and is punishable by death lmfao I think cheating on his wife and getting the other woman pregnant is way worse than simply having a coworker with some shitty opinions but then again I’m an adult who knows the impact of actual actions over words
0:22-0:27 I have actually! 🙋 Specifically Disney World and during Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It was an event so I was with a huge group of people who did as well too! ❤
12:35 That one seems more like an incentive to kill more people, because that second death seems way cooler (and way less painful too). Call me boring, but I don't think we should rewards murderers.
Instead we give them names like 'The Smoky Night Killer' and don't really call the victims by name. It's already been said before but calling them 'The Limp Dick Weirdo' might help cut down on the fame aspect of it.
1:40 Not only that, but it turns out that they divorced over the alternate version of your lovable goofball dad declared war on all of humanity and had six kids killed in order to break a magic barrier.
But we're old, Frankie M. The sooner we'll accept it, the better it will be for us. It's that or continuously screaming at those damn kids for growing up too fast. Both are fine with me, really.
20:40 IDEA! A character that receives healing from the pain inflicted on others than themselves uses the shield … AND the shield is sentient and capable of communicating how super masochistic it is… that is all for the time being. “FOR THE TIME BEAN!”
Dear PM and Andy. Y'all are both awesome and I hope you both have a lovely day today! Thank you for having such good cosy content for when in that headspace. Am currently sitting on the floor wrapped tightly in a blankie going through the binge comps on the big screen, and am very happy. Thank you both for your brilliant contributions to this world /gen /pos ❤
You recognising how great Silver is gets you SO much applause from me. I was LITERALLY going "MY BOY SHOULD BE ON THAT LIST" and then you made it so!! That would have earned you a subscription but I subscribed a few hours ago.
19:12 I know a book called “Dragon Slippers” where the dragons collect things other than just gold. One collects human shoes, another collects stain glass windows, and another collects dogs
"What's that game where there are two lesbians and one has blue hair?" Are they talking about detroit: become hum- "SONIC THE HEDGEHOG" (So affected by those 3 words that he flies back as if shot by a .50 cal)
at 21:07 i had a massive bi panic attack over seeing N for the first time, only to realize they were a dude. ...now i'm questioning my sexuality once more at 1 am.
for some reason when you made the "play the g note" thing I absolutely thought you were going to say "Play the brown note" I've even seen the origional video before this compilation, but my brain still did that
16:12 and Odin is either the cool history professor at some university because of his magical knowledge or rules a small country that not a lot of people care about like the Faroe Islands
For sake of ease, if we assume it takes 1 second to pull a dollar out of your pocket, it would take 1 week, 4 Days, 13 hours, 46 minutes, and 40 seconds to pull $1million from your pocket.
19:31 Tales of adventurers are a running tradition in the human kingdom’s culture, they tell stories about fighting dragons for their precious gold and invaluable treasure. One tells the story for his battle with a scarlet-red behemoth with tattered wings and flaming breath, another swears by his encounter with an enormous serpent that had scales as impenetrable as diamond. These adventurers fight over who is truthful, for they all go to the same cave, on the side of the steepest mountain with the sharpest peak. But they all fight something different. They probably saw Steve and Michelle. Michelle is my next door neighbour, she loves baking cookies and loves collecting cookbooks. Steve had dragonets recently and their constant flame bursts left scars on his wing membranes, poor guy. We all take turns guarding the cave of gold to distract the humans from the true treasure of this mountain range, our treasure. Our books, our songs, our stories, our families, our lives. We may be a small community of dragons, nowhere as populated as the human kingdom, but we’ll do everything we can to keep our home safe. Even if we have to pull a couple of punches so the humans don’t try to destroy us.
Loki's still in a cave having snake venom dripped on his face, I hope, though the way the world has been going recently that is definitely not a guarantee
It took me SO long to realize that I'm subbed to 2-3 channels linked to MyStreet and Minecraft Diaries, kupo! This channel is Travis' aka Pat, Aphmau's(Jess) channel (obviously) and I realized Andy is Garroth (also btw Andy, I loved your Undertale 'Stronger Than You' duet with Lizzy), kupo. I feel like an idiot but honestly, I just didn't know and that's a-okay, kupo. Also, this is gonna sound, uh, odd...but um, I only know lore from... *blushes in embarrassment and looks away in shame* looking up character lore, minigames, and some animations, kupo... Stella: *pets my head* Aw, it's okay dear, you were young and never realized. Besides, you love their works anyways right? *feels happy* Yea, I do, kupo.
