Mike mentions that It has learnt from the last 27 years. When Pennywise kills the girl under the bleachers, he now knows to introduce himself first unlike it did with Georgie. Nice little touch.

Adult Eddie actor really stood out to me as spectacularly mimicking his younger self's child actor. Everyone was so good!

On the topic of one's opinion being colored by their viewing experience: I just saw the movie. During the opening scene when the gay couple embraces in PDA there were audible groans from some men in the audience. That reaction kept me from having an immersive viewing of the movie. It made me feel othered. And as the scene continued I hope that those audience members had their noses "rubbed in it" so to speak. The depiction felt true to life. That it was hard to watch means the scene was effective. I found the violence, intense and realistic, but not gratuitous. It's a very real fear that gay people have. Ultimately, I'm glad to see that reflected in a piece of media.

Man how I cried at the end. Watching Richie absolutely devestated losing Eddie was just heartbreaking. I never cry in movies, but yeah. Wow.

I will say, there’s an interesting parallel in the domestic abuse scene where the way she hits he husband with the picture frame perfectly mirrors the way she hit her Dad with the toilet cover in the first movie.

I just looked at the losers cleaning bathroom scene and Stan was not wearing the shower cap. That would’ve definitely been a good callback.

The "schlubby" guy that is the Ben fake out is actually a cameo from the original kid Ben actor from the miniseries.

I think that the opening scene was kind of paralleling the end w/ Richie and Eddy. At the beginning, the guy who dies has an inhaler, which is Eddy’s artifact at the end

I noticed Bill didn't have his stutter through his whole establishing scene and then Mike called and he made this choking noise before the stutter came back.
