As a licensed esthetician, THANK YOU for recommending using an spf before these products! Most people don’t know they’d need to use looots of the product to get the spf coverage most tinted moisturizers/foundations/bb/cc claim to give. LOVED this review I just snagged the Illuminator one on sale to try it out and maybe will try out the nude glow after☺️
I’ve been using mine for over a week now and I couldn’t be happier :) my skin looks refreshed and dewey! And even after I take it off I feel like it’s moisturized!
Thank you for calling out the different types of sunscreens in them! I'm very sensitive with mild rosacea and I'm slightly nervous about the chemical component in Nude Glow....we'll see how it goes....
Try going in with your traditional mineral sunscreen first. I definitely recommend a primer and then this. Hopefully that’s how it will work best for you!
First video I came across when I looked up the illumination foundation. So glad I saved my in-store credit until the sale, got it for $13. 😭 Can’t wait to see how it performs, maybe give Nude Glow a try in the future.
I just ordered the Nude Glow and I hope I am satisfied as you. I love it cosmetics and I had 3 foundations prior and I was using them and they were not applying to my skin and it was driving me crazy Completely my fault they had expired dates and I had no clue!! So I hate to throw them away but I need foundation so Thank you so much for your video your makeup application and face are beautiful!
Hallo, thank you for this review. I watched yesterday's yesterday and was looking forward to this one. Perfect timing for me. Saturday Ulta has the cc illuminate one 50% off so I will try this first then later the cc glow one. Thank 💖 you
Finally a proper comparison video between the two,, love your effort and explanation in detail Lovely both look on you ❤,, probably the nude glow more 😊 Keep making these in depth videos and reviews 👍
Hey beautiful, I love how you always say use a separate spf & I definitely do as well. I haven’t tried the illumination version but I do like the glow one. I am leaning towards the glow side more at the mid day check in too. Glow for the win after the full day. FW & have a great weekend
Hey Steff, I agree with you even though I love the original but the Nude Glow is something I'd want to pick up and try. It's a really beautiful foundation and wore so good on you. I'm going to check and see if they have my shade. It's so hard for me to get my shade right. I hope you have a great evening. :)
I'm also normal to oily but I think I'll give the new nude glow a try. Although all the other it CC creams didnt work for me, I'm not giving up lol. Thanks for all your thorough reviews!
Hard to beat that $21 price tag at Ulta today for the Illuminate version? That would probably make the decision for me honestly if I were to pick up one of these products? 💗
Well, I honestly like the new one better. I felt it looked better for longer and kept it’s coverage. If you already use and enjoy the Illumination just get it bcs the sale is good.
I feel like the nude glow side looks better overall, I think it's more hydrating than the illuminate one where illuminate one has a not shimmer effect but illuminate effect? 😊
@@SteffsBeautyStash I think I'm going to pick up the illuminate one first since it's 50% off at Ulta and I was really hoping to love the Danessa Myricks Yummy but did not. I'm hoping the IT illuminate will be a full coverage dewy alternative
wow the new one really does look a lot better end of day imo! that was what I disliked about the cc cream before, it was for a 4 hour wear only bc longer than that, it made me look tired which isn't the look I'm after LOL -tfs!
Lol!!! Yes the BK Beauty 105! It’s the only brush I use for that Dior Powder. For whatever reason it’s the only one that applies that powder the best on my skin.
It's so hard for us gals with very fair skin. Ver few product lines produce very fair shades. I have to mix in another foundation that is really light and blend it all out with some extra SPF as well. Rosacea is a curse!
Awe I am so sorry. I have a review going up tomorrow on the new Youthforia foundation and they have a shade that's super light. Maybe that one will work for you? It's sold at Ulta.
Sometimes I wonder if they bring back discontinued products and repackage them, for example foundations that were dewy when matte was the style. You said $42. I remember when they were $39. Hourglass blushes went way up in price too. Ugh.
Great video, it helped me make up my mind...the CC nude low wore perfect...can you tell me the brand and number of the brush from the illuminate side please!
I’m definitely planning to grab the nude glow in the Sephora sale. The CC illumination is just a tad too much on my skin, I like something a little more lightweight.
I think the nude glow looks a lot better on you. Just smoother and a more natural radiance versus makeup like. A very easy pick for natural makeup days, grab and go.
I noticed at the 5 hour mark right away I liked the nude glow side better the oils on your face didn’t stand out as the other side. I lucked the side you picked.
IMHO at the end of the 10 hour day the CC Illuminated side looked more cakey and broken up. Versus the CC Glow looked much more natural, flawless, and much more pretty. The consistency still looked flawless vs the other side, not so much (at all).
