Thank you for this review and the comparisons! I'm coming back around to It Cosmetics. I haven't found anything better than the Confidence in a Cream moisturizer (anything better that's cruelty free anyway), and I'm OBSESSED with the nighttime version. As I use up my skincare and makeup products, I find myself purchasing replacements from It Cosmetics. I have mild rosacea, large pores, texture, dry skin, I'm 41-it's the perfect brand for my needs.

If I am not wrong, in another video you were saying illuminating is your fav and the original one is the second. But probably it changed. Now the original one is the top of the list. Lots of love

I’ve never liked the original CC cream because it is just too heavy on me. I like less coverage but still with serious hydration. I just might try this one.

I agree with you on the coverage. I’m 51 and don’t have deep wrinkles, just a few fine lines. I tried this with and without Tarte hydrating primer. Worked better without it. I used a beauty blender the 1st wear and the IT brush that came with it the 2nd wear which also worked better as far as leaving more coverage. I like the other CC creams from IT cosmetics better as well. You don’t even need concealer with the matte except a little under eye. I didn’t feel like this dries down well even with powder and All Nighter setting spray. I have to wear a mask all day in the dental field, and this doesn’t hold up like the matte CC cream. I think the smell on this isn’t great and even though it looks pretty good at first, I’d it’s hot or humid, this is going to melt right off defeating the sunscreen feature. I don’t think I’d recommend this for oily skin either. I think it would separate quickly in oily patches. It certainly is okay, but if are a fan of the other CC creams, I’d say don’t bother with this. Just get better skincare products for hydration and use the matte or illuminating creams.

I'm interested in this, but I just bought my second tube of Loreal Age Perfect serum foundation, so I don't need another foundation right now. I've been happy with the Loreal too, it's SPF 50 & only $17.

I love the Bye Bye Foundation. I don't see many reviews on it.

I just tried it and it rolled up/peeled off over the top of my moisturizer. I had to wash it off and start over with no moisturizer. It had basically no coverage, was just like a skin tint and it sunk into my deep wrinkle between the brows and the slight wrinkles under my eyes. Even after I used the bye bye pores setting powder that always prevents settling, it settled. It also felt like it didn’t last long. Looked good at first but a couple hours later it looked like I had nothing on. Tomorrow I will attempt it again and try to build it up more. I think I may like it during the summer once I get a tan for a no make up look.

Would you recommend this one over the new Charlotte Tillbury ?

This looked really good at start but the fact that it is now it had chemical sunscreen filters is a big no for me, and also the fragrance. I'll be sticking to the ELF one for those reasons. I wish they at least removed the fragrance as most foundations other than maybe Dior or something aren't using fragrance anymore

The original feels like glue and drags my face down, emphasizing pores. If this is lightweight then I’m curious. How does it compare to Tarte Maracuja skin tint in the purple tube?

I prefer the original but the lightest shade is still too dark for me. Hoping they’ll extend the shade range in it too!

I agree with everything you said. Love this. BUT the chemical sunscreen burns my eyes like hades. That’s on me. I should have paid more attention. I’ll try again and try to keep it far from eyes and see what happens. Honestly I wish they would just leave the sunscreen out. We’re all pretty educated on sunscreen use and know not to depend on sunscreen in foundation. You could never use enough to get a true spf 40. Great review. Thanks.

I loved CC creams until I started Retin A. I’m too flaky most of the time for it. Powdered foundation works better with flakiness

I love that it’s spf 40- for some reason any spf 50 breaks me out or gives me rash/bumps - so maybe this will be a good try

I am a light-medium coverage gal so I was really interested in seeing this one. I am wondering why they used chemical sunscreen ingredients though. That's a real bummer to me as I love the original CC cream because of its mineral spf. I would wear an spf under this which is all physical. So I am wondering how that would work under this chemical product?

I can't understand why IT's "light" is SO dark and GRAY! That's really how their "light" looks on me-- gray! The swatches on Sephora's site (and IT's) for this foundation look SO vastly different. I ordered the "light medium" and am hoping for the best, but I don't know... I also hope I'll be able to tolerate the fragrance. Because while the citrus oils in the other ones never bothered me, this one has actual added fragrance. :/ Anyways, thanks for the review! This formula does look good for my dry skin type... it's just a matter of the shade & scent.

It's a skin tint. Not meant to be full coverage. I'm into the no-makeup makeup look. I normally use the Jones Road foundation. I'll use that with an eyeshadow that is my skin tone and some light mascara. And lipgloss. That's it. Natural beauty is *chef's kiss*.

You only need 1 pump. If you look oily you used to much.

I couldn’t stand the original CC . It was overly fragranced, greasy, heavy and yellow. It’s the only foundation I returned. I look forward to trying Your Skin But Better.
