No hesitation, straight as an arrow, it couldn't have been more ironic, this is comedy at its purest. When you don't expect anything like that, just amazing.
Everything about the physicality of his jump is too perfect. The complete lack of hesitation, the stiff upright form, the pencil dive, the slight lean to the right, and the arms stuck to the side. It’s just comedic perfection.
@@QuesoDrip I think it would have worked because the viewer would realize the joke after he jumps. Plus it would all be in the delivery, if he says it in that polite calm manner.
@@Joe-jc5ol I like the tea because it misdirects you to think he just needs a drink to relax and deal with the cops, but he casually walks out the window before it’s even made
Not only funny but THAT should be a role model reaction for every top manager with balls in such a situation....simply the Greatest Man in the World :)
I like to imagine that the irregularities in the pension fund lead to and incredibly complex web of crimes that are so twisted and horrible that he would rather die than be tried for it.
I've decided to watch The IT Crowd before bed now that it's on Netflix, never heard of it before, and it was a huge mistake. It took me about me half an hour to stop laughing after this which completely disturbed my sleep schedule.
Clips like this makes me understand why dopeheads are always chasing that first high. I can't even remember the feeling hilarity of when I first watched this.
Thankfully .. he didn't smash my health insurance on the rocks of 'fairness'. By the way, if you happen to see my annual 'average' savings of $2400.00 floatin' around out there.. be sure and let me know, ok?
It is for me one of the best understated running jokes that throughout the whole show... they never know or mention what the company actually makes its profits of. All we know is that it makes a bunch of money from it. For all we know it could be the underpants gnomes scheme implemented successfully.
i think denholm was the most sane boss in the show but after he died the company went down hill when douglas came into the show okay denholm did mess with the pension and probley was the most greedist fucker on planet earth but still whats better a boss who abuses you or a boss who keeps touching you and gives you roofie tea if you pick the second one im kinda worried 😂
It wasn't cancelled. Series in the UK are usually short and cheap to produce, sometimes with years between seasons. It ran for a few years, apparently as long as they all wanted to make it.
@@koldbite2158 I am amazed at the number of probably Americans who can't hear "them" in a British accent, but instead hear it as "me" - it's so bizarre.
