Springfield Missouri recently held a tournament called SUNSHINED, where I got to sit down and talk with Zamu (I also drowned in pools but WHO ASKED). We talked about Melee, life, Scotland, perfectionism, the Pokemon Trading Card Game, and whatever else came to mind. Zamu placed 1st at this tournament, defeating OG Swaglord in Set 2 of Grand Finals, after a reset from OG Swaglord.

To everyone else I interviewed at the tournament, I am still working on restoring the audio (it's p crunch I'm ngl), but I'm hoping to get the rest of the Sunshined interviews up ASAP :)

Heyo I saw this in MeleeStats discord. Finally watched the interview and it was really good! Zamu said a lot of good stuff and that is thanks to you asking good questions and giving him room to speak. Well done!

thank you so much! zamu made it easy! i'm hoping to sit down with him again if he comes to the next Sunshined so that we can discuss the string of majors he will have attended in the latter part of 2021. also, if you like interviews like this, i also have a series on this channel called "At the Springfield Melee Local," where I interview/chat with people in my scene.
