What’s crazy about the 15 minute “livestream” is that you can hear Vox kinda laugh as he reads that he “thoroughly reviewed” the documents sent to them, as if he realized right then just how terrible this script they’re forced to read will make them look.

Getting the talent to "speak on behalf" of the company harms the talent more than anything in the eyes of the public. Which is why people refer to Elira's video as a hostage video and the three as meat shields. 6:45 - It's been showing that Nijisanji is hiring highschool students at minimum or below minimum wage to do multiple jobs for that wage. So yeah, they probably have no clue what they're doing, assuming any Japanese Highschoolers are dumb enough to take that job and not just laugh at it. They're essentially having interns run the majority of things, straight out of highschool, for minimum wage. Note: Japan has what are quasi-lawyers. Think of them as people who do not pass the Japanese Bar, but someone can still work in a legal department and give legal advice. Personally, you shouldn't skimp out on your legal department of all places. They don't have to be great, but anything above dumpster fire level should be good. 14:30 - Yes it is usually only at contract renewal or situations out of the norm. This is because of the contract penalty clause... and I'll admit I'm afraid to learn what Nijisanji may have put in this clause. You have to take what is in that clause seriously before you rip up that contract. To note: Most Vtuber contracts have clauses that claim something in perpetuity. (Like non-compete or something like this) If you see that, it's probably illegal not just in Japan, but in your own country too. Especially if you're in a 'Western' country where it's illegal to put anything in perpetuity, which even if the contract is mostly in Japanese law, where I'm sure it's illegal too. It's so fucking crazy to me that Anycolor could have literally done nothing at all, and that would have been SO much better for them, cuz each and every time they did speak, they just shot themselves in the foot again. But instead they thought they could get out on top by trying to smear one of their oldest and most beloved talents. Just, absolutely boneheaded. One of the craziest things to me is that they tried to spin it like Doki was the one who didn't respect artists and sponsors, when that was just blatantly and provably untrue.

As times goes on I'm leaning more and more toward the 3 of them being mislead or straight up lied to before that stream. That said, I still think Vox is a pretty big pos. Elira and Ike at least have a shot of apologizing but Vox isn't coming out of this with a simple I'm sorry.
