So where does the production of Juniper take place? The optimal location for the production of the Juniper Model Y is Giga Shanghai. Giga Nevada is currently occupied with expanding for the Tesla Semi mass-scale production scheduled for late 2024, while Giga Texas is dedicated to Cybertruck, and Giga Fremont is managing multiple projects simultaneously, including the Model S, X, 3, and Y, making it less ideal for taking on another project.

I hope this is real. Elon said most people drive only 50 miles or under a day. What he ignored was that lots of people do! I went from Fl to GA and charged 3 times to get to my destination. My trusty CRV needs just one fill up. Sure, I can run in and waste time when I charge but it would be nice to have the option of keeping going if my bladder holds out lol. I agree it's dumb to hold extra weight if you don't need all that battery but let's make a long-range Tesla actually long range and let me decide. My 301-mile Model Y is actually like 220-240 when I go over 70 and you have to go over 70 in Florida, or you will get run over by a truck. Current long range Tesla's might be 20 more miles than me. That's not long range. My 2.6 years owning my Model Y performance told me this..... More battery! Ventilated seats in hot climates. Performance rims are terrible. Small potholes damage them due to the low tire profile and the rims stick out too far. Buy a sunshade for the glass roof because my bald head gets heat soaked in the summer. 3.5 seconds to 60 is perfect for any engagement on the pavement. Most Mustangs won't hook up with 2-wheel drive when they try to race me. I smoke them all. Charging at home with FPL flat rate program....31 bucks a month is awesome! All in all, if they can do everything they did in the Highland and push it to the Juniper, I will buy it. But it's got to go further, or I will be looking at the competition.

Tesla is continuously improving every day, so the issues you mentioned above are less likely to appear in future cars. As Elon Musk mentioned, the new car will initially be based on the current platform before transitioning to the next-generation platform. Therefore, it's highly probable that the Juniper model will receive similar upgrades as the Highland model.

500 mile range should be standard in industry to convince people to divorce gas cars for good , Otherwise , waiting 40 min to charge is a nuisance

Why are people comparing range to gas car.. Evs have batteries.. there are sacrifices that need to be made. If it was possible to go 600miles Tesla more so than any one would be doing it.

Exactly. Elon already said a 400 mile range could be built but the price point would be too high for the masses... I don't mind the 250-300 mile fill ups

There is NO way that this car is 4.75 meters tall, as said around 8:57. The Tesla Semi isn't that tall.

Perhaps there's been a mistake. This video is about the Model Y, not the Tesla Semi. However, I also made an error. The correct length of this car is 4.75 meters, and it's not the height. Looks like I'll have to dock my editor's salary for that oversight!

95 kwh would be a huge game changer for the Model Y. The current 75 kwh just isn't enough.

@@adamtech999 Wireless phone charger that my phone would actually fit in. It's useless as of now. Door lock and unlock buttons on the driver door or atleast button in one of the left corners on the screen when watching netflix. Spare tire would be another game changer. Powered frunk. Doors that don't leak air into the cab. Heads up display. Powered roof visor. S3xy knob. Smoother ride. A Stock for the wipers.
