It is so infuriating that people won’t take responsibility for their animals. Jason and Brooke I am glad you will take care of June Bug until you can find her a home ❤
You will have to set up a couple of cameras at the front of your property so you may see who is dropping off the animals. Did you check at the vets to see if Junebug is microchipped.?
Jason and Brooke.. having been in animal rescue and fostering- another tip is to ask your vets in the area if they would mind your placing a picture of Junebug with a adoption ad for her. That way you could pretty much he assured that the adopter would be a client of the vet clinic. Hopefully, this might help with the adoption of sweet little Junebug. ❤ Don't even want to get started on pet owners who neglect their responsibility of having their animals spayed and neutered. It only takes one time at mating to produce numerous dogs/kittens or other animals. Total irresponsibility. Ok.. stepping off my pededtal. I know you know.. I pray the animals don't continue to be abandoned on your property. 😢
@DannaK1207---Amen---it hurts my heart to see so many puppy mills out there. I have rescued/adopted all 4 of my fur babies, with neutering the boys and spaying the girls. In my hometown they have a feral cat program to feed and spay/neuter all those cats.
Don’t apologize for not being able to keep Junebug~ dogs are expensive to care for properly. But finding her a great home is the best thing for everyone and still a great responsibility that her previous owner obviously could care less about. So Bravo, you both are great humans ❤❤
Hello, I hope you're safe over there? I hope this year brings happiness, prosperity, love , and peace all over the world 🌏. I would love us to be good friends in honesty and in trust so as time goes on it will bring something great for us in the future, hope you don't mind? I'm Thaoms Gabriel from Brooklyn New York, where are you from if I may ask??
I wish June-Bug a beautifully happy life, filled with unbounded love for her perfect little self. (The surprise step-in pup who will never be forgotten!) And, of course, thank you Brooke for sharing your amazing life with us.
People take advantage of kind hearted folks like you. You are doing the responsible thing in finding her a forever home. It's a shame the original owners didn't take their responsibility and do it right to begin with. Don't beat yourselves up. June Bug will find a perfect family thanks to you all.

Brooke and Jason your hearts are as big as all outdoors. 💓💓💓 You cannot possibly keep all the precious strays. I think I can speak for all when I say you ALWAYS do the best for your family, farm and all the animals in your care. 🙏🏽 I have nothing but the utmost respect and admiration for you both. I send you continued prayers of blessings for your adorable family and farm. 🙏🏽💓💐
I'm so sorry someone dropped the poor puppy. I know yall will find her the perfect home. I never knew a thing about freeze drying until watching you Brooke. That's pretty neat!
if we lived closer we would love to have the new puppy. We just lost our border collie beagle mix and are casually looking for another little love bug. 'if you can't find her forever home locally we'll gladly bring her home to Louisville Kentucky
Terri there may be some rescue groups in your area that might be able to coordinate transporting Junebug from Cog Hill to Louisville. Try reaching out to a few of them to see if it might be doable.
I just finished watching when Caprison was introduced to his new home. Let me just say that I (as a good many others who commented) was really disappointed to see his new home. Nothing like your place! I hope he adapts quickly and will be happy. It made me very sad.
I have been extremely upset & very concerned about Caprison's wellbeing, safety & health, since watching that video of the farm where Caprison went!! A very, very wrong choice for Caprison. Sickened & heartbroken, & praying that he is returned to Cog Hill Farm so that he can be properly rehomed!! And also hoping that this is not where the stray puppy ended up also.💔💔🙏😪🙏💔😢🙏💔
@@jensmith3872 they are being responsible pet owners. They know their limits and they are making the decision to do what is right for their animals and their farm. That is their first responsibility. 🙏🏽
2:16 humingbird reflection in window 😁 The freeze-dried carrot cake looks wonderful! Thanks for making them. I hope June Bug finds her Forever Home and I appreciate you and Jason being foster parents for her. I'm glad it was a smooth ride with Capri-son. He has grown so quickly. Have an awesome day!
You know that it's best for June Bug to get a forever home. 10 dogs on top of All the other animals is huge. Nothing but love and understanding for me and I'm sure most of the Cog Squad!!❤❤
I understand your decision with the new puppy. We are at our max with 2 inside dogs and one outside dog. The care for a dog is more than just feeding them. ❤❤
I had to do the same - living on a corner and having rescued animals some people tried to take advantage and dump cats and dogs here all the time- until I openly refused to keep them and made sure neighbors knew I won't and it stopped happening. Broke my heart to say no...but for the sake of those I already have and ourselves I had to accept we are at our utmost limit at 28 cats and 5 dogs.
My sister lives in rural AR and people dump animals there all the time. She even feeds the skinny neighbors dogs as people out there are low IQ and do not fix, nor feed, fix or vaccinate their animals. Very sad and makes me angry, but no shelters or rescues there.
Yes, very shocked & it's upsetting that Caprison was sent to the place that he was. It's a very disturbing & very concerning place for him to end up at, after seeing that farm's video of the conditions & very inadequate & unhealthy infrastructure there. Also, as stated, how he wasn't given a chance to acclimate to the other goat herd in any way. Praying that Caprison will be returned promptly, so he can be rehomed to a farm that will be as good of a home for him as what Cog Hill Farm has always provided for him. 💔😪💔😢🙏😪💔🙏
Somebody is going to get a great little puppy! Hope they have kids that will run and play with her! You are doing what is best for your family and June Bug! You should send DeeJay at Arms Family Farm a "JESSE" shirt since she also loved him so much!
Thanks for the update on the sweet, pretty puppy. That's a wise decision... Since if you have too many dogs, then none of them receive the attention & care that you want to give each one. Bless your hearts for fostering her until she's safely placed with a good caregiver in her forever home.🙏❤️ You two have the best & biggest hearts!💕 Prayers that Caprison will have a wonderful life at his forever home also.🙏💕🙏

Brooke, it’s great that you and Jason are going to foster June Bug until you can find her a good home. ❤ It’s so infuriating people that people don’t take care of their animals.
It is good to know your limitations as to how many animals you can keep: Caprisun is gonna be happy for sure! And you will find June bug a suitable home also.
This puppy is very young and healthy, she will find a good home. DeeDee is elderly and had to have care. There is a big difference. It's simply the smart and healthy choice to make. Your farm is well situated to find a good home for the puppy, and that's an activity that is just as important as giving sanctuary. So often in life, the right thing to do is not the easy thing to do.
Good morning Cog Hill family. It is so good to see you this morning. Sometimes you have to do what is best for your family and the animals. Rehoming is a good and healthy choice. You cracked me up with when I am 70, I can open this bag and have a carrot cake.
You scared me! Capri sun will be fine! Jason none of us expect you to keep everyone! You are wonderful people! We trust you will find the best for the puppy.❤❤❤
Brooke, I really appreciate you showing us the different things that can be freeze dried and how they come out. I need to get a dehydrator or some sort of freeze dryer. Cannot afford the big one you have. Maybe someday. But for now a smaller one. My heart breaks for that precious puppy. Well at least he is in good hands for now. You cannot take care of everyones pets. There is only so much you can do. God Bless your family for your kind hearts toward Gods creatures.

Always go and look at the home an animal your letting go has a good home,is it’s clean,do their animals look well cared for..etc, I would never meet some one in a parking lot and just hand over a animal.
Oh my goodness I didnt notice how big and incredibly beautiful Caprisun had grown. He is better looking that Big Joe and that is saying something. He will make beautiful babies. Little Jessie will miss him I think, but he is going to have a wonderful life. I love that little pup and I am sure she will get a great home. I prefer the older dogs though as I am getting on myself. There is no way I could do that with carrot cake. It doesnt last more than 5 minutes when I make one lol. xxx
Thanks for the idea of freeze drying cakes. I never thought of that. I make lots of zucchini and banana bread and always put it in the freezer. Now I will freeze dry it for snacks for the grandkids.
I am so glad you are going to work to find the puppy a new home. I felt like y'all were stretched as it was (not today or masters what I think LOL). You will find her a good home, I know. Good continues to bless y'all because you have big hearts and a great work ethic.
I'll bet the freeze dried carrot cake would be good to make bread pudding with! Pour custard over it, top with pecans, butter, and brown sugar. I hope June bug finds her forever home quickly😊
I'm so glad you have 5 pea chicks still. Glad they haven't been taken by any foxes or coyotes. That carrot cake is a jaw breaker! When we had 5 acres on a county road a stallion showed up and a few dogs. Luckily they all made it back to their homes.
Thank you Brooke and Jason for fostering little JuneBug until a furever home can be found. The carrot cakes look yummy. Let us know how the next batch of pineapple comes out.
I’m sorry someone put you in this position. 😊Someone dumped her hoping to watch her on your videos growing up. When I lived at home in a farm house people dumped off pregnant cats. We found homes for them.
🍍A tip for speeding up ripening pineapple & fruit (you may already know of) is placing it into a paper grocery bag & a way to check if it's ripe is by being able to pull out some top leaves with a tug & the leaves start to dry up at the tips, the skin has some yellowing at least & a sweet aroma. Those tips helped me a lot.😊
Brooke and Jason, I don't need to tell you that you are doing the right thing to find a good home for that puppy. Thank you both for taking her in and working to find her hopefully forever home.
I'm so sad for the puppy being dumped. People are so disappointing sometimes. I'm extremely glad that you can foster her and find her the best home possible
Oh my goodness, I would take little Junebug in a heartbeat beat! She is so precious! You can just see the love pour out of that precious baby. Wishing we lived closer to you all, but we’re about 1300 miles away. 🐾💕Love your videos! You all are precious too.
What a sweet little girl is Miss June Bug. Praying y’all find a wonderful home for her. I like Jason’s idea about having the freeze dried carrot cake with coffee! 🥰🥰🥰
Happy for Caprison new home. Jessie is such a sweetheart. Hopefully you can re-home JuneBug soon. How about dunking Carrot cake in coffee 👍 Love your videos. Blessings to Mrs Cog Hill 🙏😁
I think you are doing the right thing to find another home for June Bug, it will be the best for all concerned. Even though you have so much love to give to your animals they also need a lot of attention and you have more than you can handle with ten dogs. From the title of the video I got scared that something happened to one of the animals but I'm glad it was just one leaving to another good home. I know your sad to let Capri Sun go but he is going to a wonderful home and that makes it easier. 🥰
I wonder if people who abandon their animals know what a burden it is for those who are left to rescue and care for those abandoned dogs and cats. Thank you for taking the time and making such an effort to find a lost puppy a new home. We need more people like you in the world.
Brooke, I love your test runs with the freeze drier along with your greatest fan and tast tester partner...Jason! I'm almost convinced to get off of this fence and purchase one! You all remain awesome! With much love and respect! ♥
I live in the country and have experienced the issue of people dumping animals on my property. I'm sure you will find her an appropriate family. It's true you can't keep them all.
Good morning Coghill Farm. Good to see that Junebug will be taken care of, Capris Son is off to his new home, and all of the pea chicks are doing well. Freeze dried carrot cake looks amazing. Have a wonderful day.
@Mrs.Cog Hill Farm don’t worry about people not understanding about the puppy. You guys have done so much with the strays , abandoned and sick. You guys are so generous and loving. But you are right realizing you reached your capacity. Those people who rescue or just try to save all can soon get so overwhelmed that they just can’t care for them all. It’s really hard but one must do the best thing for the animals. ❤❤
What a great idea for preserving little mini cake bites. The sound of the crunch would really be satisfying. I agree with Jason that they probably would be like a biscotti cookie. Yum!
OMGosh…. You guys are so funny! Love the idea of the carrot cake being like biscotti! Thanks for being so sweet with the puppy and for fostering him until someone else can commit to taking care of him! Love to see the pea fowl babies!!! God bless you guys!!! ❤️
Your hearts are so big ….no need to feel bad about not being able to keep the animals. Your love is so deep that you know it’s best for the animals to be homed elsewhere. Thank you for all you do ❤️❤️❤️❤️
