In today's video we compete in the 2023 Chili Bowl Nationals FINALE Night at the Race Track In Tulsa, Oklahoma to start the week. To run this race was a dream come true and it was cool to go toe to toe with some of the best midget racers in the world. One additional comment. I listened to the pit reporter interview Sammy Swindell. Sammy was about excited as finding a rock in his shoe. I miss the old days when they raced on the boards at Atlantic City. That was something to see.

Kiddo, you did yourself proud there. You represented Oregon well. (Glad Ashton is on the mend). Running in a C Main with zero experience is a great achievement. Shame the top didn't come in before your race started. Safe journey home. See you this year in the 410.

Good times by all. Happy to see you get more exposure and experience. Great car owner, keep that relationship up. Great to see the family plus Bennett were all there. Success will come with time. Tanner, there's very few guys who every even got the opportunity to go for the Golden Driller, so you are already way ahead of the game. Is CBR going to keep your seat in the No# 81 for next year? I hope you will get some more opportunities to race Midgets during the "23 season, so that you will at least keep your hand in the midgets. Gravel said his intention was to use the “c” to burn in the low and middle so the rework on the “b” would have a moderately wide track for the “a”. Unfortunately that meant there ended up being like 1.25 lanes maybe a lane in a half. If you were in the second “c” you would have been fine I think.

Tanner you could have had a 747 and it would not made a difference. It wasn't you. It was a poor track. Plain and simple. I feel sorry for the drivers as well as the fans. Who wants to play follow the leader for 25 laps. People need to remember that drivers are race fans too. You did a excellent job with what you had to work with. All everyone was doing was spinning the tires. Thanks for bringing us along. Have a safe trip home and hold your head up. You didn't tear up equipment and you gained valuable experience.

They screwed all of you guys with all the track work they did for the C main. It was never going to be 2 grooves in 15 laps. They should have just managed it with water through the C and B mains. and reworked it for the A. I was a little disappointed with the way the track ended up both Friday and Saturday. The racing really wasn't that great. Your raced turned into 15 qualifying laps around the bottom. You still had a great week though, and didn't tear anything up in the C. Maybe you'll get a few more laps in a midget this year! It's hard to do what you did with the little seat time. Chad Boat seems like a good relationship to have moving forward!

There’s a lot more to racing than winning and with how that track was for his feature, he did what he should have done and saved the car. He was in the C, not the B and playing the percentages, he did exactly what any reasonable driver would have done.
