Front to back, the NU Blue seems 5-10 feet later and noticeably more responsive on the back end. Definitely stocking this ball.

Great video! You answered all of my questions i had about this ball. I'm considering it or the Cuda Pearl. I'm throw on the slower side so this ball intrigues me.

Thank you Matt for this comparison. Honestly the Blue looks very similar to the Purple. It is also a very beautiful ball. I think I will be picking one up.

The thing I’m interested in that no one has talked about is to see if it holds surface better than the purple because it flares more and bc its Not Urethane and absorbs oil

good question, I have a some information on this topic as I am curious as well. I do know that most solid balls go to around 4000 grit (lane shine) after 3-5 games. This is due to the belts on the ball return mostly, ronald hickland has an excellent video about this on his youtube channel. So I would assume if you kept a blue hammer at 2000 you would probably have to hit it with a 2000 pad after each use to get it close. Although brunswick has some amazing chemists so who knows.

The Purple was the greatest ball ever because it soften after 10 shots to illegal levels, and remained softer over time, not recovering up to the original hardness. Nothing will replace it that remains legal. Packy noted it was tweak weaker ad he to toss it ever so slowly. The answer is right there.

Matt, I practiced with the ball today on a house shot that goes about 41 feet on glow in the dark synethetics. With the ball out of box shot 158, put a 2000 pad to it 247. Do you find just dulling this ball a bit gives it a better shape? I found that out of box it just went to long. Minute I hit it with the pad the ball read the middle of the lane much better. It definitely wants me to be square up the boards.
