Seriously what has happened in such a short period of time? There is no worship like this anymore! What happened to these sacred hymns in congregational worship? Something very bad has happened to us. We are no longer singing about the true gospel of Jesus Christ.

It is well with my Soul is a beautiful hymn, with an amazing story of courage, hope & faith by a man called Horatio Spafford, a devout Christian in 1873, who wrote the words, after he had lost his four daughters in the sinking of a ship sailing from America to Europe 🙏His wife survived & later they met up again when her husband left Chicago & joined her in Europe. He wrote the words of this hymn, as he approached the area of the ocean, where the ship carrying his wife & daughters had sunk. A moving story & life of this family as missionaries which followed. My favourite hymn of courage in overcoming such tragedy & the hope & faith it brought to this family 🙏✝️
What a blessing to see Gods people gathered together there in Belfast. I live in Duncanville, Texas USA. I recently saw a church service in Ukrainian, where they were singing an old hymn. It blessed my soul. Your service has blessed me as well today. I am a shut in due to medical issues, but I thank God for you, though I now see this was recorded in 2006, Gods grace never gets old. 🙏 Bless you, in Jesus Name Gary Drumm Sr.
A church that knows how to worship in song. I love these videos. I love these videos and especially the old hymns. They do a beautiful job of presenting the gospel in these videos. I love the expressions when they sing. God is good.

I've always wondered how the world would see Jesus when he appears on the eastern sky with different time zones. I guess all the networks will broadcast his descent from Israel just as he ascend while his disciples were watching. Thank you for singing. 🙏🏻✝️❤️ I'm listening from Palau 🇵🇼.

I visited Ireland. I would have loved going to a church there, rather than just seeing all the tourist spots, or the historical places. My father came with his family as a boy to Canada. Arrived in Montreal in the 1920's and rode the train west to Alberta

The congregational singing is great. One guy -- perhaps the worship leader himself -- is consistently ahead of the very clear beat that the band and the congregation as a whole establishes and holds solidly. That's really unnecessary.
The leader is James McConnell, the beloved founding lead pastor. He humbly leads worship, I think he was fully aware of his vocal capabilities. Look up his life story, it is quite interesting indeed.
@@Northeasy_Iowa_Outdoors I'm not at all seeking to detract from his positive contributions to the kingdom, whatever they might be. I am merely responding to the recording of a hymn on RU-vid, the beauty of which was not enhanced by Rev. McConnell "humbly" singing ahead of, rather than with, the instrumentalists' tempo. Had his mic been turned off, this would have been a quite striking and unblemished recording.
