He started up with a overly exaggerated, ironically hypocritical opinion, loaded with sarcasm, about the entire reason they were there in the first place. (Essentially starting the entire thing with childish conduct). - MTG fired back at Raskin calling out Raskin's Hypocrisy. (Also somewhat childish as it was just further derailment from Raskin already derailing). - Crockett made a snide remark at MTG, when it was overly obvious what she was talking about, questioning MTG's intelligence. (Now we have 3 adults acting like children, personalities that should be no where near leadership/representative positions). - Then MTG lobbed the eyelashes insult back (not racist, nor representative of MAGA, as crocket was claiming... But clearly further childish BS). - Then AOC couldn't be left out of the childish spat and interjected with a corny, over the top, comical attitude... Making the entire incident even more mindless and stupid... - And Crocket ended with a passive aggressive childish insult... thinking she was smart about it, when really it was just cringe, further dragging out of the childish spat, and just further reinforcement that our politics have effectively become Jersey shore... as some mindless triblists cheer from the sidelines for the grade school drama.
It gets so old and tiring hearing the charge of racism. It means nothing anymore. I'm black and speak against people doing that all the time but to me it's just the media and left wing platform/narrative that everything you don't like or when someone doesn't like you, it's because they're racist or some other buzzword.

This in no way is in defense of MTG's behavior but there are historical accounts of straight up bar room brawls between statesmen on the floor of Congress in the past.
I don't think it was racist because false lashes are not exclusively worn by just black women. Was it rude , petty, and childish . Absolutely! I think if she were to say something exclusively known that black women wear such as braids or another hairstyle, for example, than that , yes , would be racist.
There are rules in Congress about attacking someone personally. Jasmine asked for words to be struck from the record. Comer was stalling on doing it. Then AOC asked for MTG's words to be stricken. That is when MTG said Jasmine didn't have the intelligence to debate her. ( Jasmine is a lawyer)Then Jasmine asked for a clarification and gave the bleach blond etc. as an example. If words are asked to be stricken from the record then the person who said them is removed from the meeting. Comer was delaying action on removing Green from the meeting. Green speaks out of turn all the time and hurls insults. The two women had enough and stood up to the bully Green is.

John Fetterman dresses how he does because his schtick is that he is blue collar. Fetterman is far from blue collar, came from an affluent family and got a Masters from Harvard. I do like that he tries to represent blue collar workers but he doesnt need to act like he is one.
