Tulsi’s father is Samoan and mother Caucasian. She used to be a congressman from Hawaii. However, she ran for president back in 2020 and it cost her seat. She left the Democrat Party over a year ago after she saw how that party overtly sold out America.

She's smart to pull the race card. She knew where she was and knew they would try to discredit her or outright call her a racist. Mentioning she's a woman of color puts them in a corner they can't get out of easily.
Just to clear things up, Tulsi Gabbard is no longer a democrat. She is now an independant, and I have much respect for her and her service to this country.

Tulsi is only saying those terms “of color” to pander to the views audience, they will understand her message better when she uses their terminology. But she doesn’t believe race is important her politics aren’t tied like that.

I've never heard Tulsi Gabbard talk much about being a "person of color" but I think she did so here because The View and its viewers think that's important. I think that's the only reason she said that because it was relevant in that particular setting. She was the first Samoan-American in Congress ever and she was an Army Reserve Officer and a member of the Hawaii National Guard. She deserves respect and I bet she thought she had to say that to get the respect she's owed from the panel and the viewers. To call her a traitor is complete BS.
