This is huge! Teamsters is the 4th largest union in the US. Their members voted for the Teamsters to endorse Trump - 59.6% to endorse Trump, compared to 34% for Harris in an electronic poll, and 58% Trump to 31% Harris in a phone poll. The Union leaders decided not to endorse either candidate, but I love the vote of the members!

Last Teamster meeting my Local took a poll. Everyone sitting close to me, along with myself, wrote Trump on our form. It was apparent from other members that Trump was the top pick.

The union leader is a democrat who is in a rough place because if he decided to go against the majority of the teamsters and support kamala they would stop paying union dues and he would be out of the money. An empty endorsement by the elected teamster representatives, most of them are Democrats. However, as their internal polls showed the individual teamster members are voting for Trump 2:1 over Harris.
When 60% of the people you represent choose a candidate and you refuse to endorse that same candidate because it’s not the candidate you want you are in fact biased and disconnected. He should be removed from his position for failing to represent the people whose union dues literally pay his salary.
As a UAW member, I wish Shawn Fein would actually ask us and poll us before throwing the endorsement to Kamala. Majority of people I work with aren't with Harris and the no tax on OT has been the swing for quite a few people.
This is very common now. The Union bosses dont necessarily reflect the union members. Members work their asses off all week plus OT, while the bosses get to be schmoozed for political gain.

Taylor S endorsement of Harris is far and away more meaningful to the outcome of the upcoming election because she is bringing in 100’s of thousands of new voters for Harris

Because Americans are losing there jobs. An illegal immigrants are being hired. Such as Michigan and Ohio and Chicago. They are hiring this workers for way less. An a teachers union got there money pulled in funding after endorsing her. Some guy came out and said they're putting illegal immigrant children in the schools and telling them. I would think Republicans might not support more unionization, at least until policies can be changed to force more companies to build in America or pay the penalty for importing. Until then companies would rather build their factories outside the US and avoid the cost and difficulties of dealing with unions.
