Big thanks for covering Slafkovsky and Slovakia on this tournament. We appreciate it very much. I’ve became fan of Montreal since they drafted Juraj and I’ve also became fan of your channel since you’re covering them. Keep up the good work! And thanks again for covering our small country as well. We will most definitely cheer for u next season same as we did this last one

Love from Slovakia, guys. Slaf has 5 points in 5 games, even though his line is struggling the most. They are frustrated because there is a lot of pressure on them, especially on Slaf. We are similar to Montreal fans; everyone has something to say about how he should play and what he should do. Everybody expects him to be the MVP at every tournament. But he deals with it decently, to be honest. Can't wait to see him play with Suzy and Cole again.

slaf will be a 35 goal 55 assist type player in the reg season and ppg in the playoffs during his prime.

I’ve been a habs fan for a long Tim and I can tell you that Slafkovsky won’t get 90 pts in Montreal , nobody does. I don’t know wtf it is but our top scorer never gets that many points . Slafkovsky will be a 65 to 75 pts man.

@@switchgear100 yes but those guys weren’t top 10 in the league , and none has broken the 100pts mark since naslund . Damphousse was overrated , Turgeon at the end of his career , the only dominant guy we’ve had is kovalev but Slafkovsky doesn’t have the kovalev talent . Slafkovsky is what he say he is, a player that rather win than the points , he’s amazing defensively , wins his battle and seems to prefer passing on unselfish plays to make the team win, Slafkovsky not getting 90 pts isn’t bad , especially if he plays the defensive part of the game like a 6’4” Pavel Datsyuk lol

Nice video. Thank you for it. Team Slovakia will need to show much more than they did against France. In the next game against Latvia today might be pretty hard to fight and overplay. They had hard defense and goood stamina / fitness. Hopefully, Tatar and Co wil show the magic 🙂

I agree with Roy having high potential, as does Beck and Kappenen likely does too. The 3 of them seem to be on another level than the rest of the Habs prospects. I'm not sure if any of them will be on the Habs 2nd line though. However, I'd say they are 2.5 liners where they might play on the 3rd line but they are better than regular 3rd liners.

Roy is 2 1/2 months younger than Johnston, not a year. He may catch up th Johnston, but currently waaaaay behind.

Slafkovsky situation in the worlds kind of remind me of his situation at the start of the last season when he was creating so much great chances for the team but his linesmen couldnt finish. Still he is somehow averaging point for game at the tournament.

JoshuaRoy is a player that seems to not be there and then, all of a sudden he’s right in where it counts and BANG,his team scores from either a pass or a shot from himself!

its sad that 1st line isnt working as well as it could... slaf has 9 big chances created out of 40 which has whole SVK roster... he is creating superb chances but his linesmen are not in good form (yet) you would be amazed how would his stats go if Cehlarik and Hrivik were in form... or maybe not :D since he proved that in the past 😅

I hope Slaf doesn't try that pass 2 often in the NHL bcuz when he does it he has his head down & there is always a head hunter in the NHL looking 4 the big hit . I wouldnt want hi. 2 suffer a concussion.
