10:30 80 years since Frieren last resorted to that spell, which was her fight against the Demon King. This episode really did not disappoint! It went above and beyond my expectations as a manga reader!!
First of all R.I.P. Akira Toriyama, the true legend of battle shounen manga / anime. Second, that's why Ubel is my GOAT. I remember thinking if they would show us her fight against Sense's clone in here, bc in the manga they didn't, and i know why: it wasn't even a fight, it was a completely annihilation. And her backstory too, really cool.
Its not defense mechanism. Its the peak of magic that bends reality until it looks like for everyone else like a natural phenomenon. You cant detect and recognize the magic unless you understand the spell and the principles behind it. You cant even manipulate or defend against it unless you have Analyse it all. In a normal battle it would also be impossible to defend against it, because you dont have time to analyse it 😂
Even i as a Manga Person have no Idea what in the World Frieren Used there. SPOILER!!!!! (I think) We know that Frieren learns or "copies" something that looks like it, From a diffrent greater Demon, but i dont think its the same thing. So yeah even we are in the dark😅
Supposedly it’s the “Pinnacle”, “Height”, and/or “Apex” of magic. It’s magic that is no longer putting to reality what you wish but bending reality to your will. It’s why required no hands or staff and it’s unable to be perceived as an attack by someone who can’t use it. They can’t imagine doing it so they can’t imagine being attacked by it
@@b-lotus5145 ahhh okay thats friggin cool. I did not get that even after 5 times of reading. No native english speaker here xDD. Yeah i was referring to mana strike^^. Am hyped for the new story Arc ^-^
I mean, If you can't atleast put up a fight againts the others first class mage, then how can you worthy enough to become and call yourself a first class mage🤔? This isn't a training arc it's the exam to see that you're worthy enough to become the top mage or not. So saying that it's unfair to fight Sense is basically proved that those people are not ready.
As it was stated, not all mages are martial mages (fighters). It's the first class mage exam, not the first fighter mage exam... Also, as they said this episode, battles between mages are like rock, paper scissors, it all depends on your opponent.
@@Intiinti8 Actually, what I want to say is you have to do something that the same valued as what first class mage would do. If you can't fight then make a good enough support or tactic to win againts that first class mage. Those who fail this exam are still unworthy anyway since they can't even do something that much for both fighting and supporting. Also even if this is not fighter mage exam, what Serie who is the head of this magic association did is more like she defined the meaning of the first class mage as someone who have enough skill to do something to benefit them in fighting againts strong opponent since they will have to take the mission from the magic association. So that's mean if you can't fight you have to be good enough to survive. There're too many factor more than just a rock paper scissors in a real fight, sometime when you draw the paper the opponent might draw the document file, and when you draw everything to him he could just run or hide and wait til you tired. Anyway, if in the end you survive againts strong opponent then that's all it takes since normal mage would not be able to do it.
