PvP nowadays just sucks nowadays when comparing with other games. Modern games can offer WAY more than in RS golden era where PvP bloomed. It's not a surprise why PvP is dying among other PvP games.

@@lukeburris1011 if you don't equip the tome you don't have fire runes to auto cast so auto cast cancels

Not a bad idea, I'd like to see pure mage/range/melee builds.

This already exists... For example, Bofa = ranged glass cannon, ZCB with arma/masori f, dragonfire ward, tank helm, massive def bonuses and still +200 ranged att. Void ranged, higher max hit, less accuracy and less defense. Melee you get the option of going for a lower hitting but more accurate weapon like a fang/whip/rapier, or something with real K0 potential but much less DPS and less defense, like an elder maul. Compare differences between justiciar and bandos... still noticeable differences between justi and torva

It'd be same amount of switches but you'd have more magic damage (may not actually increase hit for surge), and might actually hit higher for melee considering he doesn't have many switches for it. People also forget void melee gets an accuracy bonus that you don't get with anything else
