Was listening on Spotify while at work, and had to stop everything I was doing to leave this comment. You took a genre that can become monotonous and repetitive and gave it life. There is so much movement and pace changing that hits just right and catches your attention without being jarring. You’ve got a real talent. I love this mix so much. Also Insert Memory Card and the Rain In Her Eyes (love the special into on the Spotify version) are my favorites!

But here you are: learned japanese in 3 years, found a group that had the same urge to go faster and dominate the turns and, most importantly, bought your first car in Japan: a modest yet beautiful used Supra A70 that was treated like a princess before you got it. It's your beauty. An assistant professor in a small Tokyo high school by day, but by night... you attack the mountain regions that border the city. Looking at Mount Fuji in the far distance, you wonder how it would be if that peaking volcano had streets and you could tackle all of those turns downhill. But today's different. Today you and the guys went uphill to see some new riders visiting from Saitama. Their cars are different, flashy, bright colored and recent. That new RX7 feels and looks possessed by an Hanya, with a rotary sound scaring all the animals in the forest. A bright turqoise Gojira Skyline tackles turns without braking, leaving tire marks like territory. You're impressed and scared at the same time and your friends are urging to hit the street to show what they can do. But you fall in love when a red '92 NSX stops by the diner you're at. The music is loud, and the car is magnificient. You think it could be Senna reincarnated himself, or maybe a famous driver for Honda. Maybe it's another gaijin on vacation, a Le Mans or an f1 driver? You're thoughts were racing, but everything suddenly stops when this japanese girl opens the door.
The import scene felt, and smelled so different back then. Full tank, good food and drink with friends on a Friday/Saturday night for less the $20, i miss those days.
Even though this image is very clearly AI, I own a 1995 Honda NSX, bought it in 2004 - it still only has 50k miles on it (80,000km). I had no idea they would inflate in price like they have... I occasionally have older guys in their 50s and 60s offering me over $150k USD for it, which is well over $200K AUD in my home country of Australia. I'm an automotive engineer, so I've been able to keep it in mint condition and have even machined my own engine parts for it with my CNC machine.
@@vini-vini-vini Please look carefully, the man in the rear left, his leg is fading out of existence. The rear right tire doesn't make contact with the ground and looks odd. The lighting of the woman is slightly different from the car, this looks like a cut and paste job smoothed together by AI

its 14th january 1998 and im drifting in tokyo enjoying this mix and when the beat dropped everything went black. I woke up after few hours but the scenery around was totally different and i was unable to move, my limbs felt awfully smaller and i somehow lost my ability to speak.
