It's 80 Years Old & Now Broken. I am having to repair the Disston Handsaw since it cracked while using it. I am going to try glue to fix it before I do anything else. I am also changing out saw blades and making some brackets to hold the siding while screwing it to the wall. Follow along on our main channel for the building of the homestead listed below.

? The wood I screwed the buffer on? I call them boards. I suppose because things are measured in board/feet. It’s about three board feet long.

Looks like a good set up you've made for cleaning up the saws and other tools around there Richard glad your neighbor is going to show you some different wheels for the buffer/grinder. It’s really nice not to have to rely on people for some things. It may seem trivial, but just to be able to remove residue and buff A tool means a great deal and the fact that you don’t have to bother someone else.

Super glue works great , as long as you are glueing your fingers together ! LOL That’s been my experience anyway 🤣

The wood glue was too thick to try to get it down in that small crack. I used superglue, hoping that it would fix the problem. If it doesn’t, I may cut it into and try to put the doll in there or just go ahead cut one out of a new piece of wood and make a whole new handle.
