I am not sure if Jacob's reading the cannibal story and then going "kilograms? How much is that in feet?" intended the double entendre or not, but I like to believe he did
And the second one 23:26 says "any place a dude can get a bathroom around here?" Which is less spooky but was integral to my process to translate/decode the first one.
@@pshtwhoneedsaname without the second message I might have given up on decoding the first one. Once I had all my vowels I felt a lot more confident that I could do it though.
@@ledarudbek1180 after a bit of faffing around i used the apostrophes to get it. I just found a list of common abbreviations and found the two of the right lengths that began with the same letters (don’t and doesn’t) and worked from there. still don’t know what the working behind the code is though
They brought up favorite SSS moments, and personally I absolutely lost it at Julia trying to say that she had a bone to pick with Gordon Ramsay by spitting out "Gordon-Ramsay-and-I-have-boned," but I CANNOT FIND THE STREAM
As a person from Maine, I can in fact say that 10 dead doves is exactly like how Maine is irl, dead doves and all. Also, every time I take a step time warps around me. And I take another step towards the gas station and do the time warp again.
Funny enough, the transitional game world between the demos scared me the most. The fact that it was a "safe zone" from horror forced my brain to create the jumpscares on my own behalf lol
I use the chapters to scroll through to the start of the game play and I read "blast cats" and initially skipped over it because I genuinely thought it was a really long segment of them putting joy and olive on blast
God the dead pigeons game, I can't decide if the dialog is a bad translation, intentionally stilted and weird, non english speakers doing it directed or if they thought that was how people actually talked to each other. Its just so.... _weird_ I love it. Combined with the faces it truely is a horror.
im not entirely sure but i believe that the game is intentionally trying to capture the vibes of the mid-to-late 90s horror games like silent hill and resident evil (usually translated from Japanese on a relatively tight budget) although the majority of games in the ps1/ps2 era had some pretty shoddy voice acting at the best of times

I have a weird aversion to watching live things when they’re actually live. It bugs me out that I’m watching something that’s happening in almost full real time from across the world. Even when there was news in my town and there was someone reporting live from a street over Feom my house it weirded me out. All this to say this is my new favourite channel, I love drawfee but as something to kinda put on in the background I’ve recently finished julia souls and have caught up with the most recent ones. It’s so fun seeing these vods. I can’t remember who actually runs this but thank you for this!!!
nah fam those guys in Dead Doves is stupid. you can be lost forever and starve to death in the Appalachians and they'll find your body 10 feet from the path. that shit feels like it's actually trying to confuse you, sometimes, and growing up in the foothills we were told to never leave the path unless you KNOW where you're going.
1:13:29 is actually some of the details of a real life cannibalism case I thought the names sounded familiar and then as soon as I heard the details it dawned on me what case it is

The fact that I knew the (very much real) case from the letters even before they mentioned the names of the killer (Meiwes) and the guy that got eaten (Brandes)... ffs lol. Fun fact: Rammstein wrote a song from the pov of Brandes called "Mein Teil". On that note: found this and the Drawfee channel randomly a couple of days ago and now I'm obsessed!
A lot of the times these frame issues in OBS can be fixed by just capturing the entire display instead of the game specifically. Some games just be like that.
the twitch ad nonsense is just.......I wouldn't mind the ads if they weren't so broken. Like, on the app sometimes the ads will completely break the stream and I have to shut down the app and pull it back up, and then sit through more ads because of course. And on the website I never get ads when other people get them, so when streamers try to do ad breaks it doesn't work for me. I always get them at totally random times. So like if Twitch could get its nonsense together about ads I wouldn't have such a problem with them, but they're a complete mess. So ten layers of adblock it is!

the sheer tonal dissonance of going from dead letters dept. to northstar currier is still incredibly entertaining to this day i love both of these games

it probably started as a way to use every part of the animal- you raise a lot of cattle, you end up with a lot of bull testicles since intact bulls are much less predictable/riskier to keep around- and over time it just became a thing.
