Why would anyone hate this song ? I remember one toy that i had as a baby, it played this song on a small piano. I still have it. Im 31 now and I just found out what the name of the song is. It brings tears. But I dont know whats behind that hate. I dont see any hate towards this song
@@noobsaibot1890 Some find it annoying. Some just don't like it. I like the song but as I said above, I have a rather horrible memory attached to it. I've finally been able to separate the song from the memory but it still haunts me.
Fact: A group of Scientists inscribed this song lyrics to a DNA of a bacteria that is resistant to radioactivity. So when the world ends in a nuclear disaster, hopefully new, intelligent life will be able to get the message of this song, passed to them by the old generation. Now I just can't stop imagining this song playing slowly on a post-apocalyptic era scene. Kind of sad, but gives hope for the new world.
Same here. I’m watching something on the Disney Imagineers working World’s Fair attractions and this one came up prompting me to listen to the song. It brings back childhood memories. I do t like Disneyland but I went on September because my kids wanted to take me. The best ride ever.
Did you know it's a small world was written to have no end or beginning so they could play it in a constant loop on the ride and no matter when you started the ride it sounded like the song was meant to be playing at the point it was at!
It will always be a "Small World" if we just recognize our similarities and respect one another. Thanks to Richard and his brother for writing such a memorable theme. I will always remember it when I take that boat ride as it enters into "It's A Small World" at Disneyland. Condolences to the Sherman's family and Disney fans worldwide.
My parents and I went on this ride at Walt Disney World over 50 years and I still remember it fondly. It feels like yesterday and a million years ago all at the same time
Same only it was me and my brother who is currently in the hospital rn so this was the first and last ride we went on last time I saw him he got in an accident on the way to see me and this reminded me of him and that time
In fact, this song is the dream of the generation who has suffered from the tragedy of the world wars. At least, we don't have world wars for almost 80 years.
It’s hard to believe I actually listened to this song on constant repeat overnight because I love this song so much! Nothing is creepy about it! Just being together as a whole
although this is not creepy and makes me happy well it was put on piano and put on reverse and is the creepiest thing ever. if you wanna find it then go to mr incrdible becoming uncanny phase 9.5 on super extended
My dad and stepmother took me to Disney World the summer I was 10, and we went on this ride. We got stuck in one spot for several minutes, just listening to the song over and over. When we got off the ride, some people were either singing or humming that song, and my stepmother vowed to strangle the next person she heard singing or humming that song, and to this day, she still hates it.
Same I have a burning hate for dolls, but I had a friend with a heart condition and the one time I join him on a slow ride we got stuck for 20 f*** minutes I hate myself for it afterwards
@@thellamaking7248 lol yes, it should be a geography teacher right 😅 for some reason he loves the song and just wants us to sing it in class so yep 😂 Not our geography teacher
LMAO. But like were there no cues or anything cus waiting in a hot line to go on a cool ride seems a bit pointless also was this a long time ago because they have a cool zone you know.
bob man Yeah I haven’t been to Disney in years. I went when I was 7th grade, I’m a senior in high school, and we were there for like on day cause we went to Cali for a relative’s wedding, and that day was nice out and wasn’t that hot. But I haven’t been to Disney since I was 8, almost 9
@@electriclizard7935 I had lisend to this song like 10 times then stoped, you replie and and back for another ten listens. You should go again Dysneyland is much better now.
When I was a child, I didn’t understand why Scar was so mad at this song when Zazu mentioned it. But, the first time I heard this, as an adult, I got why.
Everytime I hear this song , I can't help but picture everyone in this world , no matter Russian , Chinese or American, British or French, literally anyone ...living happily together in peace , no fighting, no politics, no big war to end all wars , just harmony and peace. But alas ...I don't see that happening anytime soon...do you ?
Everytime we play or sing this song my baby laughs and smiles. He loves this song it always seems to calm him down. 3months old and teething 😵 so thankful for this damn song 😆
This was in my psychology textbook: "Have you ever been unable to get a song or a snatch of a tune out of your head? Psychologists have a term for this phenomenon; it’s called an “earworm.” A recent study revealed that 98 percent of students have experienced earworms, with the jingle “It’s a small world after all” being one of the most frequent " This brought me here to have a earworm lmao.
i was crying at 5 years old in KG when they played this. they kept asking what’s wrong but i couldn’t express or tell them that the music was making me sad. 20 years later, i found this through google audio searching the melody, i still remember the melody bc i can’t forget how i felt listening to it. .....and yeah, i’m still crying.
This song is so deep in message that we’re in a small world with 7.1 billion people and that we should all live in peace because you may never know when your time is up.
Timon:🎵it's a small world after all!🎵 Scar: Don't start that too Timon and Zazu:🎵 it's a small world after all it's a small small world!🎵 Scar: No no you'll make the clocktower crazy no Aaaaaaaaaaaaah Clocktower: that's it I can't take it anymore ( unleashes his giant arms and smashes Zazu and timon
I've heard the tune of this song being played by ice cream trucks in my country throughout my childhood. 15 years later, here I am, first time I'm actually listening to this.... It's beautiful.
@@AliHasan-ds2jv Heck I have the tune in my head, but I don't remember which icecream brand it was. And it wasn't trucks, was it? It was cycles pushing a box.
@@wowalamoiz9489 those cycles pushing the boxes are our equivalent of icecream trucks lol. And honestly at this point i don't remember if it was walls or hico or someone else. I just remember the tune.
I grew up with this song. As a small boy it was one of my favourite stories and the song was a big favorite, used to drive my mother crazy playing it constantly, haha. Now in my 40's and I still play it occasionally :)
Random Human I’ve got a lovely bunch of coconuts (Dee dilly dee) There they are standing in a row Big ones, small ones some as big as you head “Oh, I never would’ve had to do this to Mufasa” 😪😂
I mean the person who taught me how to drive at 911 Driving School (if that's a thing where you guys are) married the eldest daughter of 3, her two younger sisters were my babysitters.
I remember listening to this song when i was 5. Then i forgot about it and i wanted to listen to the song so much and you cant believe how happy i am to find this song.
It's a world of laughter, a world of tears この世界は喜びの世界、そして涙の世界 It's a world of hopes and a world of fears この世界は希望の世界、そして恐怖の世界 There's so much that we share That it's time we're aware 僕らが共有する事は沢山あるよ 今がその事に気づくべき時さ It's a small world after all この世界は結局小さな世界なのさ It's a small world after all It's a small world after all この世界は結局小さな世界さ この世界は結局小さな世界なのさ It's a small, small world この世界は小さな、小さな世界さ There is just one moon and one golden sun そこには月が一つと、金色の太陽が一つしかない And a smile means friendship to everyone そして笑顔はみんなにとって友情を意味してる Though the mountains divide And the oceans are wide 山々が世界を分けているし 海はとても広いけど It's a small world after all この世界は結局小さな世界さ It's a small world after all It's a small world after all この世界は結局小さな世界さ この世界は結局小さな世界なのさ It's a small, small world この世界は小さな、小さな世界さ It's a world of laughter, a world of tears この世界は喜びの世界、そして涙の世界 It's a world of hopes and a world of fears この世界は希望の世界、そして恐怖の世界 There's so much that we share That it's time we're aware 僕らが共有する事は沢山あるよ 今がその事に気づくべき時さ It's a small world, It's a small world after all この世界は小さな世界、この世界は結局小さな世界なのさ
Did anybody else listen to this song with joy but at the same time was thinking of unspeakable horrific bloody imaginations while the song was playing, no? Just me?
This ride was really good went on it in 1994 at Disneyland in Florida. The thing was the music gets in your head after a while. I have heard this song about 4 times in different places.
I’ve taught scuba, flying and I’m on the special response unit for our local law enforcement agency. None of that compares to holding the hand of your grandkids and singing this song
Sam Good choice. For me, I always sang this song before I went to an amusement park. If the universe decides my death is at an amusement park, it better play this song.
I am currently watching the 5th season of Lucifer. A demon just said that she used this song to torture a man. I came here to check out what it was about and I get it
This song is annoying but it has a very important message that many people are missing today. You could be black, brown, white, asian, latino, hispanic, I don't even care if you're from Zanzibar, but we all have the same moon and sun, we all live on the same planet, we all love, we all cry, we all smile, we all frown, we're more similar than you think.
+Faizaan Datoo I couldn't agree more. I've always believed that skin color is only skin deep anyway. We all have a beat in our hearts & breath in our lungs as well.
Ive had a doll, a very cute clown as a todler. It had a key on its back. If you turn it and let go it would play some music. Never knew this song was something from disney. Childhood memory❤💕
Here's my own verse. "Everybody needs a true loyal friend. And will stay together until the end. And throughout every land, we must stand hand in hand, it's a small world after all".
Did you know there’s actually a third verse? It was written for the ride’s 45th anniversary, and it goes like this: “It’s a world of wonder / A world of worth / And in years to come / We’ll know peace on earth / We will open our eyes / And we’ll all realize / It’s a small world after all.”
This song and the ride might be my favorite in Magic Kingdom. You get on it, hear the music, and think "Wow. I'm at Disney. I'm not in the real world. *This* is Disney." It's truly magical. The song and ride get too much hate simply because it can get annoying the sixth time you hear it in a day, but it gives a powerful message, and connects us all around the world (since it's easy to translate.)
Fun fact : in a game called "epic mickey" there is a boss named the clock tower based on the clock tower that was keep hearing this song over and over until he gone insane
Me too hahaha Thats a great song for cut some arms or legs or heads and some like that... And let them escape safely Some months ago, I came from behind one of my many victims and play this song on his ear... PANIC
The fact that in lion king he said “NO! Sing anything but that!” Like I think at the time this was played a lot and even the Disney animators had enough of it 😂😂 I don’t know, but I find it so funny when I watch that scene because they take the mick out of something so irritating that Disney created 😂😂
