I was loading my car for a weekend getaway when I noticed this much anticipated video had dropped. I stopped what I was doing to watch it. A few minutes later I had a tear when I saw the perfect proposal with the most epic backdrop. A love story with a great adventure. Congratulations you have done more in a few months than most people do in a lifetime. I look forward to reading your book.

I can’t remember which episode it was in this series, I think it was in Mexico… Stacey was opening up a gate to get the chinook through. Matthew’s narration in the moment said something along the lines of, “If you ever find a girl like Stacey don’t ever let her go.” I obviously do not know you two and how you two feel about marriage, but I for sure thought in that moment that if there was ever going to be a proposal it was going to be on this trip. Biggest congrats to you two. Looks like you left a lot of people shedding some happy tears on a Thursday in May. After we watched the video we looked outside here at our home fully expecting to see Patagonia. I just wanted to cry. At 78 and 80, this video is the only way we will get to fully immerse ourselves in the wild, wonder and beauty at the end of the America's. Without the love story + adventure I wouldn’t have binge watched after finding your adventure when you were in Columbia. I also wouldn’t have eagerly looked forward to every episode Who couldn’t and admire Matthew’s growing mastery of narration and I’m guessing Stacy’s writing. Every time Stacy smiled or giggled I melted, Mathew you are a lucky guy. Any woman that could do 16 months like that in a tiny space thought deserts and freezing months, sketchy counties etc. I quite remarkable and rare. My days of adventure seem to be winding down to a screeching halt, thanks you two for the great ride.

My number one bucket list trip!! We’re just about ready to sell the house in the lower mainland and move to Haida Gwaii. My wife was born and raised on north beach outside of Masset so when she brought me home for the first time about 8 years ago I fell in love with the landscape and most importantly, the people. It’s been a huge challenge but the end is in sight. Congratulations to both of you and all the best!

First off, congratulations on your engagement. This adventure has surely allowed to to know each other in a way that takes years of a city life to experience. I have to admit that it has taken me hours to watch your last few videos as I watch to a certain point and then have to pause and let the scenery and emotion wash over me. Your camera work on stills, video and the drone have improved to a professional level and your ability to describe the moment is at times, almost overwhelming. I have to tell you that we were at a week-long music festival last week and a total stranger, seeing my TWRs T-shirt, approached me and just started carrying on about how much he loved your channel. I'm betting he loves it even more now. We must have talked for nearly an hour about your travels and you as people. Sunday has the soul of a lion and the heart of a bull and is the best purpose made vehicle for this type of travel ever made. You guys have to be proud of her (Him)? The point you made about people travelling thousands of miles to find, or meet, the person that enlightens them was perfect. Possibly some have to travel that far to listen to their own mind talking to them. What a wonderful series of adventure and I thank you deeply for all you have shown us.
