It's Bad! I Got The Results It Was Not Good News - My Cancer Update 28-02-2018
So, I had the results, it was not good. I have spread into numerous areas. The metastasis is into my lymphnodes and left side. Apparently that's good news as I have a bit long left in me than it being to somewhere else.
But! The recurrence rate will be so high and will probably be within a few months spread to somewhere else.
I am going to fight this, I have had a new refferal done to a new team that have some kind of ooomph in them to get stuff sorted! Hopefully we can!
Everything now is to prolong life, everything now is to make things comfortable and better.

About the VEGAN thing Daniel too, you can actually RU-vid it right now brother, VEGANS have destroyed their cancer & completely cured it! not just remission but CURED. I know it's a Boring Lifestyle no Meat, No MILK zero Dariy but it benefits your health so much. Also if u did cut totally all SUGAR from today & replace it with a organic sweetener called Stevia. God bless *UPDATE* just found your previous comment u left to somebody else & u said you're onto a Great diet, hopefully it's VEGAN with Zero Sugar. I am on that diet anyways regardless and i am actually so used to having no Sugar now. i use an Organic sweetener called Stevia & it;s still lovely in My Coffees & Tea.

Absolute shocker how Dan declined so quickly. His cancer was so aggressive. It's incredible that he mustered the strength to even make these videos and document his journey. Can't begin to imagine how much pain he was in. Dan was an utterly amazing human being and his family should be so proud of him.

Dan passed just under a month ago, it makes me so sad. I don’t know why but I come back and rewatch some of his videos. He was so young, too young. Such a quality human being who touched so many. Why do these things happen to good people. Rest In Peace, we will never forget.

My fellow warrior. I wish you all of the strength, courage and peace that you need. Whatever emotions you feel at the time, let yourself feel them. It is okay...that is how we deal with the news we are given. It is okay to be mad, angry, upset. It took me a long time to come to terms with my diagnosis. I am in a situation where the cancer is terminal, and it is a hard, hard road to travel. All these questions that you have, YOU will find the answer to. I stopped my treatments because it was the right decision for me. I pray for you to find the answers you need. I know you are overwhelmed. I am always here as another cancer fighter if you need. When my time comes I pray to have the courage to practice the art of acceptance and letting go. Surrender to what is. There is no peace in fighting until the very end. Anyone in England diagnosed with a rare or aggressive form of cancer, ask your gp to refer you to the royal marsden. Do NOT waste precious time with local hospitals.

Dan, I am really sorry to hear about the news you received. Please accept my virtual hug. Your videos and determination to create a community are phenomenal. Over the past few years I have lost people close to me due to illness and accidents and these events have taught me a few hard lessons. The hardest is that there are no guarantees in life. Watching your social media posts has allowed me to see someone face my greatest fears (mortality & illness) and still - make another post while trying to move a community forward. Well, this news hit like a punch. I am so very sorry that you didn't get the news that we were all hoping and praying for. I think it's very wise to move onto another team of doctors. You don't have an expiration date on you and I know you will fight this with everything that you have!! You have loads to do and everything to live for!! Just KEEP FIGHTING!!!!!

It’s so hard to wrap my head around the fact that such a young, healthy looking man can be as sick as you are and I wish I could do something to take away your pain and anguish. Ah Dan, I’m so sorry to hear this. You’re so strong for being able to talk about this so openly. It actually sickens me that you’ve had such issues getting the results about your own body, but hopefully your new medical team will be able to take a new approach that will make you more comfortable (both physically and mentally). You have a difficult decision ahead of you with regards to treatment, but know that we’ll all support you every step of the way. My uncle was faced with a similar decision a few months ago, and although it was the toughest decision he ever made, he maintains that it was the best decision he could’ve made. Hi I just stumbled on your video. I’m so sorry for what you are going through. Our best friend’s mum’s cancer returned after 10 years been cleared. It was stage 4 lung cancer and She was told she only had 3 months to live. What she did was to put up with such positive attitude going through treatments. She didn’t pity herself or got angry. She went through courses of chemo and changed her diet to fishtarian and drank alkalised (lots of lemon) fresh juices everyday. Her hair didn’t fall out and when we saw her, you wouldn’t had guessed she is a cancer patient. Her spirit was high. She got to live for another 5 years, saw all of her sons got married and have kids. I hope you have all the love and strength to fight this. There is no use to be angry. Just live your life and treasure every moment of it.

Dan I am so deeply sorry. Grieving this with you. I am so glad you’re changing care teams though. They seemed like they treat you like a number. I am SO sorry about these results. I can hear the pain in your voice as you talk and i have a tear in my eye. You are in a position where you don’t have answers to the basics, in order for you to make decisions on how you move forward. Hopefully once the results to your tests come back Thursday, it will give you a bit more clarity on your direction. PeeWeeToms usually its like that..when you are one day happy the other put you down but after that like feniks you are in sky again..my grannma and granfather had cancer..my grannfather since he find that he got cancer in one month he passed away ,i was with him and really its tough seeing all that pain ..you are really young and i pray for lots of happy days with no pain

Changing teams sounds like a solid choice. When my mom had cancer she changed treatment teams and it turned out to be a very powerful decision for her. I hope it’s the same for you. Cancer is a really shitty thing. I’m sorry you are going through this. Thank you for putting out this content. It’s a beautiful gift to your viewers. Love from over the pond in the US. ❤️🙏🏻

I'm just now seeing and watching Dan's videos. I feel so sad for him because it seems like his original medical team did not manage his case well. Prayers to his loved ones. He's at peace and pain free. He was an amazing light on Earth.

I was diagnosed w/ stage 4 Wilms Tumor when I was 7. After you go through 56 straight weeks of chemo & radiation you remind yourself it’s all worth it. Worth it until you are told that you have relapsed. Now I was only 8 at that point but I knew that NO ONE wants to go through that shit a 2nd time. I was given the choice of continuing or stopping treatment. I remember sitting outside and thinking of every grownup thing you do. I got pissed off bc the list was endless. So I right then told my mom, let’s get back at it! Damnit I want to do my own laundry someday! Of ALL things right? When your a kid, you aren’t seeing or hearing sympathy or pity. Block all that crap out! Surround yourself with positive 24/7! Get a service dog, it’s proven to help heal & is a reason to get up and fight on your darkest days. Lots of love to you💜

I agree, always do everything you can :) I'm in hospital now as I was rushed in as I am mega unwell :/ may have more spread upward and towards my head.

So very sorry to hear you are in the hospital. God Hospital food, I mean are they trying to kill you!! Sorry bad joke. In all seriousness, keep at all different options! I took a chance at a brand new procedure & by the grace of God it worked for me. That was 28 yrs ago. I can only imagine how far medicine has come since then! Stay strong & you will be out of there in no time!💜

So sorry to hear of your passing Dan. I’ve watched a few videos and you were truly inspirational to so many you tubers. A very brave man. I think you have changed a lot of people’s perspectives of their lives. I lost my brother 24 years ago, 27th Sept 1994 to cancer. We didn’t have smartphones then and even video cameras were quite rare. I have not seen a video of my brother in all of the 24 years since his passing. I would really have loved to have seen him in a video as they convey so much more emotion than a photograph. Thinking of you Dan and your family.

I'm so sorry Dan and heartbroken, but l've experienced some miraculous things through prayer and I'm praying a miracle for you. You've got a lot more to do in this mission for community awareness and support. I'm not saying this to make you feel better, but l don't think you will be leaving us anytime soon. People, including myself, have come to care about you and what's happening to you and that has given you the opportunity to show us the importance of supporting one another in pain or crisis, we should have already known Dan, but we forget to take care of one another. I'm sorry it took you having cancer to remind us to help each other, but l thank you!

Thank you for your honesty and bravery. I pray you find a way through this and that they can give you additional time to live out your life the way you deserve. I pray for your doctors to find adequate ways to provide you with comfort, pain control, and knowledge on how to compete and defeat your cancer. I'm not great with words, I stood by my brother's side for the 5 months he fought for his and you never really find the right words. There aren't words that can make things better but I thought I should try. Keep fighting one breath at a time. You have power over your cancer until your last breath, remember that. I stumbled on your video today. To say all the events in my week seem trivial is an understatement. I thought about how my husband was very ill. The latter few years I focused on the fact he was leaving me. So I wasn’t in the moment. Not to get too personal. He used to nap. I tried to cuddle with him. I was I so much pain I ran away crying. Everyone treasure the moments you have with your loved ones. I wish you healing, happiness and love.

Not one person is promised tomorrow... And with everything in life I think quality trumps quantity. You'll make the best decision for you. You have a lot of people behind you. And you are helping so many people during your journey. My best friend was killed in a cr wreck a few years back and my brother was also killed in a car wreck last week... If they had known they're life on this earth would be over soon...i know they would have done so much more and lived everyday to the fullest. Above all I hope they are able to help keep your pain controlled so you can enjoy your life. 💪❤...🦀

PeeWeeToms And just a side note..I don't know why I've connected with you like I have.. I was actually up a few hours last night praying and thinking about you.. I had a feeling this video would be posted today. I don't have cancer but of course like most people I have lost loved ones to this horrible thing. But I do suffer with terrible clinical depression. I was rapped at 18 ,it started soon after. Then a few years ago I contracted Lymes Desiese while being a vet tech at the animal shelter. That physically put me down. It's gone now, but I will always have physical pain from it. The meds I was on for it ruined my teeth, I'm having all of my bottom teeth removed friday,and having implants put in.😥 Monday was my first day out of bed in 2 weeks💃. Besides taking kids to school. You have helped me put life back in prospective. And for that I'm thankful. 👍I hope your bothers crabs are doing ok. Tell them I said hello. ❤

I'm so sorry Dan. You have every right to feel the raw and honest emotions of this bad news. We are here for you, during this sad and heartbreaking time for you. :'( I'm glad you're seeking other medical resources. Doctors can be irresponsible and sugar coat a devastating illness. As the care taker for all my loved ones and friends, I have had to be their ears,advocate,and voice. I don't but up with B.S. anymore from Doctor's! After 20 years I'm so done with it. It's hard, it's hard to understand and folks who think they know or understand are very mislead. Also people telling me that I should have had chemo or radiotherapy don't even understand cancer I don't think. Sucks really but I'll be ok :)

Dan, you must keep on fighting as always. I bet this new team can find a good solution. I perfectly know what you feel because I'm struggling everyday in order to accept my mother mysterious disease. I have no more tears to pour out. This morning, or I should say: for all the day long, after watching your videos I thought that I have to be stronger for my mother, for my father and for a dear friend of mine who copes with a terrible genetics disorder. Never ever think the fight is over! Fight for your life, for you and for the ones you love! Because the fight and the good toughts are keeping you motivated to get over it! I admire your project, it is a honorable idea and sounds like you have for what to fight and to enjoy life! It just seems so odd that you would be written off like that, and I've thought that from the start but did not want to say that. Coping? different for everyone but in general terms, one hour, one day at a time. worry about today and tomorrow takes care of itself. hugs to you.
