Agreed but she was also 20.. it was a life lesson that she’s now living the consequences of. And it does sound like the other girl was a far better fit for him so it was the better path for him as well
the woman classic where she breaks up with him just to see how much he fights to save the relationship the man classic where he was happy in the relationship but after finding out she wasnt happy, decides to not be a burden and tries to move on shes hung up because she got it all twisted in her head where she was the high value person and didnt get the result she wanted he was sad for a month, tried to let her know he was still there for her but her pride got in the way
Why they say “focus on myself” they really mean go through as many bodies as they can. Then they get bored of it and want back the safe guy. Dudes do not fall for that bs
@@bobfg3130Yeah, but she clearly thought that would happen eventually. It just didn’t go the way she intended because she couldn’t actually get over him.
The fact that you can't get over your ex after this long shows you're in trouble when it comes to finding someone else in the future. If you can't bring this to a close don't get into a new relationship. You'll just constantly compare him to your ex and miss your ex so much you just might cheat on him. Go into therapy, get help and figure out your own thoughts and problems.
The odds that this guy and she would have had a happy marriage are low. They were young and he wasn't that in to her (and clearly she wasn't that in to him). OP needs to turn her attention forward, not back. She is still very young.
