Hey Donn, awesome build, well done. I've got a fair bit of experience driving amphibious tracked vehicles in the army, and they all have one thing in common, tracks are very bad for water propulsion. I would suggest you maybe add a small battery outboard engine on the back, it will give you way better propulsion than the tracks ever will.

Congratulations, job well done. It looks great, you will get the propulsion problem worked out on it. I just wish I had half of your skillset.

Awesome job Donn 👍 and it floats, I figured it would, it’s funny how many people doubted it would, but most of those people never actually calculated the weight. I’m building a articulating dump truck and it’s funny how many people seem to doubt the 13hp engine I’m installing on it, they keep saying it’s not going to work, it’s the same people that say it would not float. Good work my friend and thanks for bringing us along, I definitely know how much more work it is to not only build something this big but to also video and edit it, most people will never know how much time and work it takes. Good Job 👍

Mike festiva sure it will work I built a skidder using an industrial 10 hp single brigs. It worked but was slow as mollases. Put a 2 cylinder air cooled lombardini diesel on it now it works better and is acceptable as far as speed.
