You can definitely say Akira Yamaoka heavily inspired this kind of genre of music. That sense of melancholy, combined with darkness and ambient wonder. And we have him to thank for it, otherwise, I'm not sure this would be even remotely possible.

NO WAY, all of this music is made by you? I thought this was just a compilation of different artists until I saw a comment saying it's yours! I'm in awe. Excellent work. Captured the melancholy yet calm and serene vibes of Silent Hill. I feel like people so frequently confuse the tone of these games with Resident Evil when Silent Hill has always been more "subtle coffeeshop horror" compared to Resident Evil's "action movie horror".
