Ancestry is better anyways it tells you your whole ancestry including all your great grandparents going back the past 300 years african ancestry only tells you your paternal or maternal line

Nice video. Thanks for uploading. I did mine and came up with 100% Senegal (Senegambian to be historically, culturally, and geographically correct). No surprises there, knowing the history and genealogy of my family! I match with the descendants of Early South Carolina African Americans. The whole point of me doing the test was to trace distant relatives from the Diaspora. My mom came to visit me from the Gambia and I got her to also do the test. Waiting for her results. That should be interesting. It will help me to determine how I am related to certain unassigned relatives. I noticed Early South Carolina African Americans in your matches too - and moreso your grandmother. I may even be related to your grandmother, you never know. I've made my results public so African American cousins can find me. I've been in contact with several cousins. Doing you genealogy would also be pretty useful.

5:47 - the Bantu ppl left Cameroon years before slavery to find a new location. Some bantu ppl traveled west (west bantu) & found a land filled with gold & oil. They named it kingdom of Ndongo The Portuguese wanted that rich land. So ndongo was invaded, some people we’re taken as slaves to places like Colombia, USA, Mexico, Brazil. And then the remaining west bantu people left in Angola was attacked by colonizers.. Kingdom of Ndongo is now called ANgola - it’s now a Portuguese country rich in oil Next door is called congo- colonized by france- rich in gold. They even found a new mountain of gold in Congo April 2023. MeanWhile the original west bantu are still in usa, brazil, Columbia etc and are usually poor and angola ppl speak Portuguese and congolease ppl speak French.
