I played Pop1 but it was always too cartoony for me, but this I am very much liking. Can't wait to put my new Skol Tomahawk gunstock to use! Let's hope the launch goes well and this game blows up the way a lot of people think it will.

Wow the shadows make the game look 100x better than on standalone hardware. Also the DAMAGE INDICATOR splatter effect needs to come to standalone if they can figure out how to make it not tank performance

@@donkideck7180 bro I can already talk for my friend group which 6 out of 12 people in our gaming group bought a headset just for this 2 of them headsets are quest 2s but it still stands it's gonna sell headsets bro my friends daughter preordered the game and no he doesn't have a headset but his daughter does if I'm seeing this in just a small town in a small group of old cod friends/irl friends yeah I think you will see a difference

I was shocked that I like it, tbh. Not remotely close to the stuff I usually enjoy. I think VR + Giant open world PVP is a good combo despite the naturally more gameified mechanics.

Just my two cents but I feel like VR games just don’t translate well at all into 2D content. The graphics always look poor by comparison, motion is jerky, controls awkward. Until the enjoyment that’s obviously there for the user of the VR kit playing it can be felt by the non VR audience on RU-vid I can’t really watch. But that doesn’t mean I’m going to unsub or anything silly.

For sure. VR content is typically only enjoyed by VR users unless some other gimmick is used like mixed reality, face/body cam, or meme reel.
