@@ShadeScarecrow There is a video online of a small goat KOing a cow stiff with a clash of heads. The goat got knocked down, but got right up; The cow however, did not.
I have been sitting here for several hours watching some guy brush 2 cows. I have been totally entertained and for that I want to thank you. I also want to thank you for introducing me to Highland cows because now I want one for a pet. I don't see that happening in my 2 story apartment and my landlord said, "No pets, especially cows." Keep the videos coming.
I just subscribed to your channel. Have always loved cattle growing up on a farm. Such sweet gental giants. Keep the videos coming. I really enjoyed watching.
@Charlotte Isaiah Didn't think so. High on a true cattleman's list of mild annoyances are folks that refer to bulls/steers/oxen as cows. This is coming from a girl who has a dairy farm.
Allie Champagne... Higher on my list of mild annoyances, are people who refer to my cattle as yaks, buffalo, bison, etc... A lot of my followers don’t even know what they are....so when I talk about my highlands I just referred to them as “cows”...because everybody pretty much knows what a cow is
They look like they play well together. Hamish seems to be aware of how much bigger he is and stays calm. Kyloe is so funny when he walks right up to the camera. Wants his closeup!. Roger not afraid of Hamish either. Day in the life of pampered and well loved pets. Thanks for sharing. Nancy
"Don't look at me like that. He's your goat". But when you told Roger that Hamish could kill him, Hamish gave you a look of disbelief. That wasn't subtle at all.
My wife and I like your posts. We live in Western Canada and originally wanted to raise Highland for meat. Well, beside a bull we unfortunately had to put down, we are now running a petting zoo. Our 13 animals, red, dun, white and black are pampered and most of them know their name. Because I am from the French part of Switzerland, they are bilingual but, since we have so many neighbours who are from Germany, we are working on their understanding of the German language as well :-)! Thanks again for these amazing video clips. JMD Highland Ranch.
@Christofherraywita Wita We actually should but, first of all, we have to purchase a good camera and, eventually, a drone. We will give it a thought though.
@@jeanmarchouriet3793 German? Swiss? Are you near me in INvermere and the Columbia Valley??? I haven't seen any Highlands around here. All the other breeds are here, though, including Longhorns up near Brisco, BC half an hour.
I think if you got one of those big durable balls that kylo would love it. I'll bet they both would play with it. Cows and horses love them! Even if we bust the ball get him a few of them
I have a friend who has a couple of Bulls and he puts out a couple of large truck tires and the bulls love tossing them around. Maybe John Deere has an old Tractor tire that you could have for the kids to play with. And there is a guy in Utah that uses a 55-gallon plastic drum that is filled with foam that his Bison love bumping and tossing.
I was riding around the blue ridge parkway and I seen some cattle like this thought what kind of cattle was this, now I know, they are the most prettiest cattle I ever seen. Have a great week.
Kyloe is like the motorcycle gang leader played by Marlon Brando in "The Wild One." A cop asks him," What are you against?" Brando replies," Whaddya got?"
This video made my day! What a wonderful life you have with these amazing animals. I'm so jealous. I hope you all have many happy years together. God bless!! 😊💖😊💖😊💖😊
Love this video!! Brutal, OMG. Can I ask why do you keep those animals? I mean is because you like them or is there any other purpose? Thanks, you have a new suscriber
How did bulls in general and Highlands bulls get a reputation as wild and dangerous animals that you can never come near, when you prove they are anything but?? Those horns look like they could mean business, but they show no malice to use them in anger, unlike a Spanish Fighting Bull.......They seem like a gentle beast, despite their size and strength, like Clydesdales also from the same place in the World!
I actually have a black kitty who reminds me so much of Kyloe. Yes the cat it a bit smaller, but has the same personality. Just always being super playful, mischevious and getting into stuff out of boredom and causing trouble but innocent and just wants to have fun!
Kyloe, I would rub you if I were there, but honey, you must understand, I'm not there. #FoggyNoggin LOL Why are you rolling it back down the hill? Because I can.
I wish I could... if you look back at a couple of our other videos from 2017-18 you’ll see the issues that I had dealing with the loss of property that I been using... One of our future goals for the sanctuary is to acquire enough acreage to support not only these guys, but others as well
@@HamishandKyloe Excellent! I hope you can acquire or use more land. I have a rescue male, Mexican Donkey that is 22 years old. I also have a rescue male, Alaskan Malamute that is two years old. I have access to six acres but I am only leasing the land. Hopefully, in the future I can afford to purchase my own land.
I saw this beautiful cattle first in the movie 'Rob Roy' and I felt this cattle looks so interesting and impressive. So gorgeous animal, and their horns remind me of the ones of aurochs which died out unfortunately. Probably the aurochs were similar to them, or?
