I love how each chorus is sort of an inverse of Circus Hop. In each Circus Hop, the character falls more and more into insanity with each portrait of them growing more insane and crazed, while in this one, they seem to grow just a little bit happier. It goes from a frown, to an open mouth, to a bit of a smirk, and finally in the last seconds of the video, a smile. It's really a heartwarming thing.

The choice in the instrumental track for this song is just perfect in conveying how "normal" this kind of thing can feel. Wonderful work as "normal"

The theme of toxic positivity is something I really relate to, honestly. I think sometimes we all need to remember that it's okay to be sad, and that it's okay to lean on our people. Thank you for giving us a song that reminds us that we're not alone in this. And, to whoever's reading this- your value is immeasurable. You are loved, and people miss you when you're not around. Take care of yourself, you deserve it

I thought the same, but when I saw that everyone was happy except me I was like '' oh wow I'm depressed '' and I just can't open myself up, I just feel like a burden to my loved ones, but slowly, I'm getting rid of that feeling, it's exhausting battling everyday with my own thoughts but people are here to help me now :') (sry for my bad English)

I've been feeling this way for a while and I hadn't really thought of a good way to put that feeling into words...previously all I could say is "I just wish I could have you feel it for a second so you could know." Because there is no way to truly ever put feelings into words. Even this song probably isn't 100% accurate to the topic because feelings can never be truly explained through words alone. It needs something more, like a song for example. Thank you for this ♡

When struggling with depression, I couldn't tell if what I was feeling was normal and I was just over reacting. It took me months to tell a friend how I felt, and another month to get therapy. Fortunately I'm now better, but I want anyone reading this to know that it is not normal to feel sad, unmotivated, alone, trapped, etc. on the daily. Please get help. Trust me, no one will judge you. Please, just talk to someone.

This one...this one really hits. The lyrics really take you the mind of someone who's depressed. The music give a hopeful atmosphere, especially at the end. I see it as the opposite of Circus Hop, where as that song was a slow decent into madness ending with suicide, this one is slowly ascending away from madness, with a hopeful end.

A month or so ago, I was in the worst mental state of my entire life, and in complete denial of it. Every single day, I felt absolutely miserable, and wanted everything to end. I convinced myself that my feelings and problems weren’t worth bringing up, and at the same time I felt like it was the only thing I ever talked about, and had a hard time thinking of anything to talk about that didn’t have to do with me being miserable. This song was what finally got me to cry, and reach out to my mom and tell her everything I was feeling. I’ve gotten a lot of help since then, and I’m so, so much happier. Thank you so much for this song, I genuinely don’t know where I’d be without it

This one is truly what I call a bittersweet song, because the Circus Hop is more forceful and delirious at portraying isolation with its ironically happy undertone; whereas this one is more of an honest “It’s okay, you don’t have to worry about me...” saudade undertone.

To be honest, this has been be for the better part of last year and the first half of this year. I didn't get help because I never reached out. I resonate with this song to an insane degree, and I think it puts the subject matter into the most real way of putting it, as if you're stepping into the shoes of depression itself.

Even though it has some deep messages, It's a wonderful song to hear every day. Not only because the current situation makes you feel bored of your life, but because makes you think on the things that you can still do, the people you can meet, the places you can be and all thanks to the fact that you're still healthy. These songs are great emotional support.

It's hard for me to genuinely express my feelings. Music has always been a source for me to convey my emotions and thoughts and this song gave me a way to express how I've felt most my life (minus the attempts, I'm too stubborn for that). So in a sad, but happy way, thank you.

The whole idea of just brushing stuff as "normal" is really well expressed in this song, (and might I add hit wayyyyy too close to home) of course how complex stuff like this cant really be expressed in words but this is as close as anyone will probably get, songs are able to express things easier sometimes rather than just talking.

I like how the background trumpet (or flute, idk instruments sadly tbh) sounds like water or noise rushing by. Kinda furthers the floating in water vibe and shows how immersed in depression a person can be.

I really really like the instrumental of this, it's so soothing somehow. There's something to it that feels so simple and humble, which relates to what is said too in some way, I'm sure of it, but even like this, there's a tad bit of empathy that seems to resonate from the way it sounds, like you know that this is definitely a song that's trying to reassure you that everything's... After working quite a bit to pull myself out of this place, this song has a weird feeling to it. Kind of bittersweet, glad I'm not quite so "down" (haha hard to refer to it any other way huh?) anymore, but just imagining the feeling again makes me feel lightheaded. Great work man, love your stuff
