I do that get the sticky part stuck on the clear bag 😂 . It’s amazing how many times us resellers miss a stain on something at a thrift store . Proper job you have a nice system . Have a great rest of week and weekend 😊
@@Josh-KimI’m the same Josh would rather get the item sold and move onto the next purchase or listing. I’ve learnt this over time with experience. ☺️ Anyway enough of me rambling. Take care happy thrifting and selling
Very enjoyable Josh, I don't thrift, but your videos make me want to try! Great job on the video and wishing you much success! Kudos to your wife in getting into Wharton!
Orange ! 🍊 Wouldn’t do less 😊 FYI I stopped thrifting at stores because it got too expensive. Now I do the bins and surprisingly, I do find good stuff.
Woohoo - Thanks for watching til the end! It's definitely disheartening when you find a great piece that is overpriced. Happy to hear that the bins are working out for you!
Thank you for your videos, I am a full time nurse and work from home, I started reselling about 6 months ago and am trying to get higher quality items, I didn't focus on that enough in the begining, I resell part time and really appreciate the schedule you follow in your video, thank you so much! Orange
Thanks so much for watching til the end! And it’s all part of the process. The bad buys when you first start reselling are a rite of passage haha. That’s how you know you’re becoming a better reseller!
I've been liking the new system so far! It's definitely worth considering if you're doing primarily clothing. Definitely gets trickier once you start throwing in other random goods in the mix. Thanks for watching!
Really enjoyed your video! Thanks for showing details like tracking your milage. What kind of board or backing do you use behind the grey fabric in your photo station? orange you happy to be reselling ;P
Thanks for watching! I used an old piece of plywood I had with some old boxes & cardboard pieces to make it a little wider lol. It’s a bit of a janky set up 😂 I plan to make it a little bit better eventually, so will definitely video it if I ever upgrade the materials for the set up!
I live in Long Branch so I dont get up there to often. But, i have gone to the bins in Hackensack a few times. This time of the year I’m am driving all over to go to Church Rummage sales
Orange! Keep at it Josh. I have keeping up with you for a few years now. I can relate to you with also being an Army Vet. I’m on the 15-20 listing a day routine. It’s a ton of work! I love your photo setup and positive attitude. Keep doing you man
@@jasonlee1628I don’t wash the clothes unless it has a noticeable odor. Otherwise, I note flaws or stains. I don’t want to add additional wash wear by washing them. The buyer should really be washing the clothes before wearing them anyway.
@@VoidedMirror isn't it Ebay policy to wash them before sending them out to the customer? "Used clothing must be properly cleaned and include a statement that the item has been properly cleaned," I asked the same question to technsports and he even said "All items are washed before listed on ebay, it's ebay policy."
I'm right around the same point as you in my reselling business! When you list your items do you have a set promotion %you use or do you not promote at all? Would be awesome if you were closer. Always nice to have someone to thrift with!
Great vid Josh and was the 3rd goodwill the one in elmwood park? because that ones about 5min away from red, white and blue as well oh and I forgot ORANGE!! lol
Thanks for watching!! In case you don’t see my other comment - I wash things once in a while, but I typically dont wash my thrift finds before listing.
what I am trying to do is when I sell something I only spend the COG for that item to buy more inevntory ..so it I bought something for a dollar and it sells for 20 that only gives me 1 dollar to find something else... all teh rest goes into my savings to pay bills .. I can not be sellling something for 20 and then go out and spend 30 to fo rmore stff very fast way for me to go broke
I just started the video, so sorry if you say later what is your qualifications for items you are sourcing? Are you going for fast sell through, ROI or something else?
Hey Dan. There’s a few things I try to consider, but definitely no hard set rules. For the most part, I’m willing to pay more for an item if it has higher sell through rate (greater than 90-100%). If it’s in the 50-60% sell-through rate area, then the ASP needs to be in the $30 range and I don’t want to pay more than $6-8. General guidelines, but sometimes I end up buying things because I think they’re cool 😂
Heyyy glad you’re back. What a great video. Orange!! I learned about the brand UNTUCKit from you a wicked long time ago. Sadly the last UNTUCKit top I had sold for $10 :(
Hi Brenda! So good to see you here in the comments 😄 Yeahhh I’m trying to relearn which brands are good nowadays. So much has changed the past 2 years!
Hey. I pay for Vendoo to help with crosslisting. Sometimes it automatically delists, but a lot of times I manually delist on the other platforms when an item sells. I can delist through the Vendoo app on my phone, so it’s not too bad!
gemini thrifts of YT travels from PA to NJ to hit those town wide yard sales and church rummage sales she makes a killing ,,, ususaly the stuff is priced to move
I prefer the long videos 😀Do you have garage/yaer sales around your area? So many good buys from them - unfortunately the closest ones to me are in the 120km round trip so there has to be a few to make it worthwhile. Have a great week - orange! 😁🦘🦘🦘
Thanks for watching til the end! I haven’t been to a garage sale in a while, but March to October is usually when they happen here. Hope you have an amazing week as well!
