Joe (and Toby), I just wanted to say thank you. As a one-man trader myself, it can get pretty lonely and these weekly diaries are priceless to me. Agree, just a loud exhaust, some people don’t look at speed, guess they’re just trying to find fault in everything, cup half empty kind of folks...those things really shift when they’re floored. That thing weren’t shifting anywhere.
You need to get rid of the pumps, checked google maps it’s been like that for a least ten years , I take it the tanks have been filled in anyway ,paint the canopy legs , LED lamps in the canopy remove pump islands ,will give more room for activities and things
Watching this with a coffee in the warm with honing down outside. Comfort viewing, really cheers me up. I am retired and miss work banter terrible even though at work sometimes was terse relationships. I’d love towork there. You are a great boss without the need to be an arse or authoritarian and staff seen m happy. In my view when I was a boss happy workforce = loyalty. I was in middle management fighting off pressure from above and nurturing the actual workers that without the business wouldn’t exist. I learnt over many years to try and be a decent boss and you have it in spades at an early age. I see you sold my “ yellow” SX cross and hope there’s been no returns. Wish I hadn’t sold it tbh and kept it for myself as was a gift to my daughter who is now emograting😂. Keep up the fab work. My fave car channel by far

Had to chuckle at aprox. 3.10 in your video when you smartly flicked out your left arm and wrist, promptly ignored your watch, and read the time from your computer screen. 😄 Don't fret about feeling 'down in the dumps'. Don't think it's anything to do with work, I mean, I'm retired many years and still feel mentally yuck quite often. Subs are heading north quite rapidly. Good to see. All the best.
That vehicle score check only works if the car has been moted on mainland, doesn't work for Northern (even on uk plats)or channel islands. My mk6 Golf cabriolet gttdi scored under 400 even though its only got 50k....apparently its only had 1 Mot back in 2018

Joe, with your easy-going entrepenural altitude, your fix-anything team. Dual sales sites, in view of more auctions now favouring "Classics", could it pay you to have the odd pre-computer car on offer, and even advertising for them. As there is always the old-timer like me that wants to "Fix it myself", looking for a car with the engine facing North/South, with propshaft and back axle. With the petrol pump and filter bowl on the engine instead of in the gas-tank, a double chain driving the camshaft, no rubber bands. Might pay to give it a try, perchance ?
Love this comment it’s me too. All that is fixable especially if there’s no rot. I had a 17 yr old Mitsubishi in Spain and underneath it was as new no rust at all. I currently own a 17 yr old berlingo petrol and if they made them new I would buy one tomorrow.

You do realise prob about 90% of owners do that to cold engines. A secondhand car is a gamble. To be fair he just gave it a little squirt for the camera and nothing more.
