After Episode 1, Jar Jar had me puzzled. I couldn’t discern his place in the story. The squeaky wheels got the grease, and the character was effectively cancelled. Now we do not get to know what his arc was.
His arc went from bumbling fool with an honest heart provided much needed help because of his unpredictability to useful idiot manipulated by Palpatine to grant the special war time powers at the crucial point where the Sith’s plan was about to play out. JJ’a low self esteem and sense of unworthiness allowed Palpatine to become Emperor
@the-trustees because at least Rogue one connects with the original universe that George Lucas follows, didn't follow new ideas except on how and what happened between a few episodes, instead all movies after 6 are just pure gold digging on what could've been a good continuation off where Luke ended, but instead they just trashed the origins and purpose of the first set of movies and after those ones failed, they just got these prequels and sequels shows that rarely made sense or were enjoyable, for example I did enjoy most of Mandalorian, haven't watch Asoka or Bad Batch to get a full review on those, any opinions would be great and corrections on my English as well.

Stopped watching this after the second episode, written by infants for infants, if Disney didn’t own Disney + streaming they would find it very hard to sell this to any other Tv broadcasters around the world …… Star Wars has become unwatchable for anyone over the age of 10.

Disney doesn't need to quit star wars, they just need to have new directors to take a star wars exam before hiring them. If anyone fails the exam ie. Doesn't know anything about star wars then they don't get to work on star wars

It'd very much upset the writers who want these jobs and continue what I often see as the endless season of strikes sometime between September to March generally when films, etc. don't get written or finished because, "We don't get paid enough, etc." maybe writers should start thinking they don't because audience members are becoming critics enough to realize bad works.

They tampered with the franchise, disrespected its lore and its fans and it blew up in their face. It's hilarious that in Headland's interview she said that using the phrasing Vader was seduced to the darkside felt weird to her and now when she created her own show, she basically did used that idea with her characters.

Agenda issues aside, The Acolyte was originally pitched as a series about the Old Republic. This series was not about that at all. A show about the Jedi at the height of their power and influence? This show was not about that. Carrie Ann Moss had about ten minutes throughout the eight episodes, yet was prominently used to sell this show? A wookie Jedi had even less screentime and was then killed off camera? One slap in the face to Star Wars and its fans after another. All exacerbated by Kennedy and the shows creator slamming the audience for NOT lapping this crap up? Boggles the mind!
Ironically, they did an extremely poor job of indicting the Jedi. Wookie Jedi? Literally did nothing. Tobin? Literally nothing. Trinity, freed her comrade from mind control, how was she supposed to know it would kill the entire coven? Even so, it was self-defense. Sol, acted to defend himself and May. Bro the fight scenes were terrible. in the final light saber battle at one point they had their sabers crossed with Qimir having his on the other side of him while Sol was holding below his wrist and all Qimir had to do was flip his wrist and could have killed him. So many time in the fight people could have done the killing blow and did not. STUPID writing and STUPID fight choreography
