Fish that are as “purebred” as yours will tend to get swim bladder issues more easily because ryukin body shapes, Pearl scales etc are not very natural and can cause deformed organs and bodies. In my experience, all of my cross breeds that look less like ryukins and more like common goldfish tend to have less issues. Of course this can vary and some ryukins may be healthier than commons but this is just what I’ve found so far.

sorry for your loss. The Swimming bladder issue is a real challenge for fancy goldfish especially for round-body breeds like Ruykin and oranda. I saw one of your ryukin has curl gills, which used to be a popular attribute in China back many years ago. The other impression, I think your filter is good for tropical fish but not powerful enough for your goldfish. You may want to try sump filters. Good luck and enjoy fish keeping

Quarantine the swim bladder, no food for 1x24 hours. after that, less feeding with green peas, do 15% water chnge every day .

I had a couple of batches of fry from a fantail and ranchu breeding. First batch, only a few made it to a couple of weeks old then died. Second batch and i got four to about 2 months old until two of them died. The two that I was left with have disabilities but are still alive! Mostly mouth problems. However, they hatched in Novemver last year so they're almost a year old now

I have had several of these fish n yes every single one have died of air bladder disease is sad for me because they get really big n then they die with air bladder disease. I stoped getting these kind of gold fish till I learn more about the fish n air bladder disease. The problem with SB disease is that you can try to cure it, but it only effective for a while, then the symptoms comeback again. You cure it, and then comeback again. It's always repeat just like that. The main cause of it is from their genetic/body anatomy. Some goldfish which has body anatomy deffect, tend to have SB disease, no matter what kind of food you feed them. The only thing you could do is try to minimize the symptoms. You could try by feeding them gelfood, pellets with no fillers (new life spectrum, omega one, etc), and veggies (once or twice a week). I hope it can help. Nice video btw :)

My goldfish oranda have dropsy and i decided to give up her because in this kind of disease i have experienced this many times and no one has survived! So i decide to not give any medication and transfer it to my big pond and wait until it dies ..but suddenly got miracle and she survive from dropsy after 3days of transfering to my pond....i think its because she gets more sunlight and big space thats why she healed.😊

My experience with crown pearlscales are the same….they grow up and then usually get sbd ….I hate that about goldfish.

I’ve also mixed paprika and garlic paste with their pellet food in a little bit of tank water they love garlic and the spice and garlic mix will have an effect on trapped gasses alright. Some say the garlic sends parasites packing as the fish munch the garlic drops the dukes of gills Interesting theory although I’m not convinced it’s true May I say your tanks are IMMACULATE You quite obviously have the welfare of your fish as a TOP priority 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

I know someone mentioned a something that stops the fish from getting gas you can add to their food. No clue who said it and I have not found any yet. I also use that dirty water for my plants and they are huge!

I prefer bare bottom tank because gravel could trap the fish waste..if allowed build up for too long, these can sicken your fish and lead to an accumulation of aquarium mold.

ALL the goldfish look sickly. Red marks all over them etc. Your tanks look dirty and you admitted to waiting 10 days to change the water in the goldfish tank and don't clean the filter in the molly tank as you should. You should up your maintenance. That gravel was FILTHY.

All my molly died 💔💔 there 4 yrs old and they died because of poor water quality i dint changed the water 6months
