Yet the democrats are the ones trying to change voting laws to allow more voter harvesting etc. They are the ones trying to knock down amendments of the Constitution. They are the ones trying to pack the Supreme Court and they are the ones trying to eliminate Presidential opponents any way they can. Saving Democracy is a farce coming from the democratic party.

I beg to disagree. Both in the past and present, migrants to America often flee some form of persecution in their homeland. The unfortunate truth is that in both instances, those migrants are frequently met with persecution by xenophobes here as well. As Mark Twain said, history may not repeat itself, but it rhymes.

What is coming to the border are single men, children and very suspicious people. While some are here to work, others are here because they know our government will take care of them. Our ancestors came here under specific terms - Required a sponsor in the US. No housing or government subsidies provided. They had to gain employment within a specified period, or they would have been deported. Totally different.
