As a spinner and knitter, I am deeply grateful for what you do. I have romantic notions about the wonderful properties of wool, and how cute sheep are, but really, it is HARD work, keeping sheep. Thank you for keeping on! ❤
Cheviots (right? These ones) have especially graceful faces and lovely pretty ears. I was shaking my head while you were sorting them, I wouldn't be able to do a dog's work at a farm, but you just sorted them three ways effortlessly. It sounds silly, but that swift sorting - wow. And I like the sheep trailer. I feel like a slack-jawed kid standing outside your farm fence watching you work in awe. You have a great team, my respects to you all.
As a former small Cheviot n Highland rancher in California- I appreciate: the proper sheep equip, good workin’ dogs and your endless energy! You do shepherds around the world proud! Keep it up!
Great video Cammy. Also I don’t think I’ve ever seen how the trailer levels are set up in the time I’ve been enjoying your journey, it was a sight to behold. I’m very excited about your idea of measuring ewe quality based off rams used. Looking forward to whatever you decide.
I agree. Fascinated by the double height trailer. Interesting to see how it was assembled. Wondered how Cammy was going to get out - over or under. Almost guaranteed a stop at two for wee bairns. 😉
Bonsieur Monsieur .. as always beautiful sharing adventure documentary updated resume countryside content video footage compilation and the filming settings presentation looks spectacularly gorgeous .. as always beautiful upload and you doing an excellent great job .. loved the beautiful lovely captured views .. keep it up Sir and as always appreciate your beautiful sharing adventure documentary .. Merci beaucoup Monsieur
You are moving right along with your business, what with the merchandise and growing your flock I am really impressed with you both, just a tip take care of yourselves health wise as things can go to hell quick if your sick. ❤️
It was interesting to see how you transformed the trailer to two levels - I’d always wondered how that happened! 😉 Good looking batch of sheep. You’re such diligent shepherds! 👍🏼
Love your videos Cammy. You and Lizzie work so hard with the sheep, shearing and raising the boys, doing videos and attending events. I truly don’t know how you do it but I appreciate all of it. Cammy how do you and Lizzie decide which direction to go in year to year, do you have a business or financial planner? Your boys are so handsome and it’s wonderful to see them out there with you both. ❤❤
I never realized you can convert the trailer to two levels and back again. Too cool. But it looked like getting out might endanger the family jewels. lol
I absolutely love your trailer! Thank you so much for showing the details on how you get that second floor put together. Does anybody know if there is a trailer like that here in the USA? Love your videos, Cammy!! Thank you for taking the time to shoot the videos while you're working. I rarely take time to take photos, let alone video taping!
A boy Cammy another good video 👍. Sounds like you have some really interesting content coming up, putting rams up against eachother in a competition 😂😂
Could you visit a farm and do an episode on Loaghtan sheep? There's a Manx society to protect them and try to make sure they don't die out. They're the most beautiful reddish brown.
Another great educational video Cammy. 👍 I've been meaning to ask a question for some time now but, I just kept forgetting so. here goes now that I've remembered. Why do you and other sheep farmers have so many different breeds of sheep, and why don't you just stick to one or maybe two breeds? Thanks in advance Cammy. 🐑🐑
Great question!! I suppose my answer is I buy the sheep I can afford not the sheep I want 😅. With Lizzy’s new ground we will be keeping just one breed of sheep. 👍
Great little video...felt like I'd done a little work myself! Did your boy take a tumble and widen his nose a bit? You're having lovely weather for this time of year, hard for insects but great for grass! I'm dealing with a dog been in with the sheep, vet bill, etc....how is it people think you can let dogs run loose where livestock graze? Madness of Modern Life!
You've made me curious now: when you add the new 80 to your existing 64 ewe lambs, do they flock together straight away, or do they need to suss each other out first? Any stress whilst they sort out a pecking order? (I've seen videos of cows getting quite violent when working out who's leading the herd). Thanks.
Cammy have you ever considered having the sheep dipped? I was watching Sheep Shepard the other week and he had a mobile dip truck come to his farm and all his sheep were done within an hour or so.
Hey Cammy, the aluminium fences that you use for catching the sheep, where did you get those? I've got more square ones, but they keep getting stuck on the grass/ground when trying to drag them closed behind the sheep!
@@TheSheepGame Believe me you'd get lots of views of those on youtube where your videos are monetized. Lots of people aren't on Facebook and are missing out.
Had to laugh when it the closed captions changed "old ewes" to "old jews". I just imagined his accent and it was hysterical. Please do not be offended by the term, I meant no harm. Its not a term I would use,but one my patents' generation would have. If it had referred to my own ethnicity or religion, I would also think it was comical! So dont come at me please.
When you use "voice to text " you never know what what you're going to get. My husband wanted chicken nuggets for supper. It came out "children nuggets. "
