After watching the debate, my number one concern was for President Biden's health. His brilliant wisdom and extensive experience was all intact. His mind was still all there, but his stamina, energy and the struggle he had to express his position, had me very worried. He didn't want to give up. With everything in him he wanted to see this campaign through to a win. But putting Country before ego, absolutely proved his dedication to America. I'm deeply proud of this honorable man! Passing thr torch to his VP had to be the hardest decision he had to make. Yet he did it for us. It was the correct thing to do. Americans needed the energy and willingness to fight Trump in hand to hand combat. As a true gentleman this was not in President Biden's political heart to fight Trump on his playing field. VP Harris has had vast experience dealing with Trump's type of low life before. Now the President can have her back for support and strengthen her position as the best mentor possible! Tim Walz brings in the "best neighbor vibe." The guy you could fish or hunt with. A man we can trust our children to be cosched by! (So OPPOSITE of Jorden, the creep.) We've got this election now, thanks to you, President Biden. Thank You Sir! Your legacy will be as the hero who sacrificed to save Democracy. You have given the United States a chance to be ourselves again and move forward into the future with real hope. Here comes the win in November! 💙🙏🌊

You can compare older videos of both men, and Donald's cognitive issues have accelerated FAR faster than Biden's. But Biden is old and he's tired and that doesn't get better as you age. At some point the party starts to feel like the a-holes for asking an 80 year old man to do the job
@LeTrashPanda
@LeTrashPanda 11 дней назад
As an older person it's very clear that the presidency ages people rapidly as it is (turned Obama's black hair grey) which becomes critical beyond the age of 70, Reagan was a very different person at the end of his second term. That's what I DIDN'T want to happen to Joe. He probably had the virus brewing in him at the debate, since he had a full blown case a few weeks later.

If you truly want to be able to vote for the Green party as a viable option, the best path is to vote Dems across the entire ticket, because if they get the Presidency AND Congress, they can do *a lot* of good stuff for the country. One of those things could be implementing Ranked Choice Voting, so we're no longer stuck with just the GOP & Dems forevermore. After the quick mobilization behind Kamala. He wasn't talking about Trump at all then. In terms of your comments, this time around seems worse to me because the people around him have had 4 years to get organized (not limited to but including project 2025); Trump has much more to lose if he loses the election because of the cases against him; and the supreme Court, a third of which he appointed, has given him much greater immunity. We don't ask how well do they manage a large organization, how do they reach decisions, how good are they under pressure.. etc. Who cares if they can small talk at a donut shop. The news has been exhausting for a while. Yeah, the period after the debate was rough with all the calls for Biden to step aside, and luckily there were enough people saying that to be heard. I'd zoom out and say things ramped up from about the time of the guilty verdicts in trump's criminal case. After that, it's been non-stop nonsense. The month of June was overwhelming with news, thanks in large part to the supreme court, which is a good example of the nonsense I just alluded to.

Seth and Colbert always make it all about themselves. You can tell they’re barely listening so they can get their lines off. Kimmel for life. 4:15

Good to see somebody who’s mostly going off a prompter spread their wings. Lots of talking heads (and big Hollywood actors) would be exposed but not this guy. John Oliver, Amy Poehler, Tina Fey, Alex Wagner, Jon Stewart all come to mind as well. Cooper Anderson is good too. Hell, even O’Reily sparring with Stewart seems like a real human being. (Not one I agree with)

A good politician goes the way the public goes & follows through. So, yes, a good politician's position on an issue will change even if they personally do not agree with the particular direction the public is going. Gov. Walz is a perfect example of that. He's not someone who'd choose abortion for his family because of the struggles they've had with fertility. However, as he said, he won't take that right, that choice to make their own decisions about their own families away from others nor will he judge someone who does, even if he wouldn't choose that. THAT'S someone understanding where the American public is, understanding where he is, but being able to separate his duty from his personal life & beliefs.

Yes. All your observations influenced my thinking that Biden's timing was intentional. Trump had his false sense of arrogant entitlement for a while, then "had the rug pulled out from under him". Kamala avoided a primary race....how could it have been better? Political genius.
