Ana I think you should seek help from a psychiatrist too. You can feel better with some treatment for your depression. I asked for help and I'm with antidepressants since 2 years ago and It changed my life. I think better, I don't suffer that much the pain that it's still there, and I can treat the psychological issues better while medicated. I hope you see this. 😊

Hi Anna. I am disabled and I have both lymphedema and lipedema along with rheumatoid arthritis. I cannot exercise like i could when young. I went Ketovore/carnivore 2 years ago and lost over 85lbs. In addition I work with a chiropractor for my spine issues. I noticed that after every chiropractic adjustment i needed to urinate. My chiropractor explained that the lymphatic system drains better when your spine is properly aligned. Also, FOR ME PERSONALLY, my lipedema is less painful since I lost weight. My sweet girl. I am 59 years old and I've lived with this condition since I was 20 years old. In those times ( 70's and early 80's ) doctors had never heard of lipodema and I was told it was just in my head. I guess what I'm trying to say is " Thank you for being transparent and educating people on this subject " Your a Rockstar Anna and you will help many others overcome the stigma and fear others fear. Grieving the loss of ones mobility is a grief that never ever ever ever stops. Ever. If a person has ever had the ability to use their body with any amount of freedom and non-pain, and that is suddenly gone forever, then the grief never goes away. I hope you regain your abilities, I hope this is not a grief that will become a part of the rest of your life. I used to dance, dance, and dance, and dance, and now it’s 50-50 that I will fall just walking outdoors without assistance. I will never accept it, I will never make peace with it, and I will mourn the rest of my life. Yeah, I’ll adapt, I am adapting. Yeah, I’m carving out a different life, but that doesn’t mean the grief isn’t there.

I'd never heard of lipodema, so I looked it up. It seems to be hereditary & I'm thankful it doesn't run in my family because this condition is serious.

Whew I have been there. I was an athlete until I was diagnosed with having zero disk in my L4 in my back. I couldn't do the level of physical I was used to and it took nearly 8 years to rediscover myself and my limits. I will 100% need surgery in the future so I'm doing everything I can now to make it so it goes well and I can bounce back. The good news is this surgery is seeming to be exactly what you need to move forward. I'm proud of you. I'm sorry others are coming at you for stupid things that aren't important. This is your journey and I'll be watching you and continue to take inspiration from you.

There is no question that this is painful and frustrating and scary. And you are pretty brave to be opening this part of your life to social media. I hope you are successful but I also hope that while you are healing from this you learn a few lessons. All the expensive runners, expensive running clinics, clothing hauls, cruises and travel in general cant replace certain basics. I dont recall ever seeing you focusing on eating correctly, I saw you eating alot of delicious stuff but was it what you needed. Instead of going to see these "experts" that tell you what you want to hear like the nonsense that you can be a runner try seeking out people that will maybe give you some honesty and hard truths.....all the best to you and your recovery

I think the part for me that is most concerning is when she asks the specilaist for clarification after she says 'You've done everything". Clearly Anna understood what she meant, but this allows the conversation to drag out, to the point where the specialist lists all the ways she is doing everything correctly. Very scary pyschological tactit there. At 16:37 you can see her face change as she acts confused - I think this is the breaking point for me watching her content....

It’s hard to reconcile this documented evidence of functional deficits when I feel like I’ve watched years of motivational can do exercise videos and even recent runs. It’s kinda confusing 🫤 the real story is difficult to decifer, if there was no need to ‘prove’ dysfunction to have insurance cover surgery would we still get this story? I’m genuinely asking cos I’m unsure how I should engage with this channel these days. I am leaning toward your actual primary need being psychological therapy with therapeutic and pharmacological interventions. Your emotional dysregulation is forefront in every video and is a valid concern. You said you feel gaslit but I wonder how your viewers feel, if they feel gaslit.
