It Took Me 10 Years to Complete This Secret Easter Egg... 

This easter egg has been in the game pretty much since the beginning almost 10 years ago... today I finally did it

Props to that enemy player in the boat who didn't kill you.

The pure joy and excitement at 9:39 is hilarious and wholesome!

As someone who has mastered the physics of parachuting in BF4 I can say without a doubt you made this look harder then it actually is

That boat guy was a big chad for not killing you.

The fact that it is visible to everyone makes it so much more epic

His videos have a special energy that can make anyone feel fun, even they haven't played the game.

this easter egg was in CTE but was not in the main game until last couple years or so when it was activated in the main game theres 5 lights you can activate it from. everyone is just familiar with that location . if the tree is broke theres other options only need to be struck by lightning once, you will no longer need to get struck by lightning to activate it again you do not actually need to stand on the windmill, you can hover over it to get struck. or even stay in a heli on top of it the storm starts at 400 tickets. you can use almost any gun to shoot the light. do not need to use a sniper rifle i have done the shark several hundred times and helped others many times. 5 locations: tree at outside small island near D, shooting at light near inside small island (the tree and light you shot at) tree at inside small island near D, shooting at light in front of broken carrier E flag tree on US team island, shooting at light near island off of A flag tree on D flag, shooting at light near CN/RU team island tree on small island between B and C flags, shooting at light near US team island

Feel your pain man, I've been electrocuted so may times doing this Easter egg, when I'm finally on the island hunting the light some sniper is constantly trying to snipe me. I've tried to complete this 4 times now but haven't been successful due to outside interference 😢

It took me almost 10 years to do the peacekeeper Easter egg cause I didn't have the time or resources. But once I've finally did it, it was easy to do (almost). The only downside was that my fingers couldn't stop twitching cause I was typing the Morse code fast

As someone who used to play Battlefield a LOT and loves Battlefield friends. RIP Tony, thick44 human God warrior, recon. The playerbase is full of assholes who see you doing a Easter egg ane will go out their way to stop you. However that boat driver is a great example of the normal players, you sees someone doing it and just leave them be. Boat driver you represent the best of us all.

i remember trying this years ago and i got so close after experiencing the exact same problems but when i finally got to the tree enemies would just destroy it and then it was impossible to finish so i gave up but i was so close

This easter egg was disabled throughout the games lifeline and only available to do in test servers. It was re enabled a year or two ago.

For any who are wandering At the very beginning of BF4 in 2013, a DICE employee teased in an interview that there's a huge easter egg on Paracel Storm which the entire server could see. The community went on a massive hunt for this easter egg but it was never found. Several clues would be hidden on Dragon's Teeth maps about Paracel Storm and the jaws of a shark. Around that time people had already discovered the Megalodon on Nansha Strike but since these hints show Paracel Storm, it is believed that this map also holds another Megalodon. The easter egg would not be uncovered until people were looking around in BF4's CTE. Sometime around 2017 a Megalodon was finally found in the game's CTE version of Paracel. However, this event would never make it into the retail version. It remained disabled until 2020 when a update to the game secretly added the Megalodon to the map, with two changes being that you no longer need one of the Phantom Program items and it now rewards you with the developer exclusive black DICE soldier camo
