@Hector Teran , it would be impossible for his King to escape from being checked as the Queen cleans his pieces before eventually checkmate. According to Stockfish she is already +20 and the best 29 moves later is checkmate. Even if she does not do best moves, once the rook comes in about 20 moves after the bishop, it would be hard to blunder her Queen, Bishop and Rook as the board is open and basically at the endgame.

In this particular match Anna was moving her pieces but Carl didn't realize she was also moving his, hehehe. Chess at this level is kinda funny, its more than the simple discovered check or sacrificial piece to open up the line of attack, playing so many more potential moves ahead and figuring out attacks with high probability defense responses where the attacks work because of those moves and there's not much else you can do to defend at that point...the trap was already sprung 3 or 4 or 5 moves ago, fun to watch the game!

You open with the exact opening I use. I only know one so far :) but didn't you move c4 prematurely without cover? or is that a gambit?

You remind me of Elizabeth Harmon in the series Queens Gambit! I've seen it several times then on day I ran across your videos. I'm a BIG fan. Love to see you destroy trash talking Chess Hustlers. You keep playing and sharing and I'll keep watching. Thanks for sharing your games. Hugs from Idaho...

For those who don't see why Great Carlini resigned, Ke7 (only move) Bg5+ Nf6 (only move) Bxf6+ Kd7 (only move) Bxd8 I won't lie, I would have played Bxg6+ but just Qxh8 after that.

Can't the king also move to e6 instead of d7? Or am I just an idiot and not seeing something? Which is very possible, as I have very limited knowledge about chess.

@@duroprem By "only move" I didn't mean that there wasn't any ohter legal move, but that all the alternatives were obviously worse. Like Qf6 instead of Nf6 the move before, If Ke6 is played, it's just worse for Black because the King can't take the bishop after Bxd8+. In that position the King can't even play Kxe5 because of the nasty f4+! So we would have Kxf4 (forced) Rf1+ and if Ke3 then Rf3# and if Ke5 then Bc7+ Bd6 (forced) Bxd6# Since I'm here, I'd like to add something. The Great Carlini understood that he blundered with Ke8 and asked at the very end "maybe I go this way?" showing the move Kg8. Actually this move is even worse because of Qxd5#
