Took me a few years to get to Liberty and Elis outside the Statue of Liberty takeover Mysterio did in that mission! To Correct: That was the second film game. The original was called Enter Electro
@@tyson2768Well, it normally takes patience to get there. Just have to wait for one of the helis to come to Battery Park. (Their AI behaviour is quite fixed) Then you can hitch a ride to Liberty and Ellis
Now THAT'S a throwback. If only they fully modeled liberty island and added a helicopter to take you there. Maybe they could add that in an update for Spider-Man 2's 20th anniversary next year.
@@danielmontero8200 What are you talking about? I'm saying Insomniac should add Liberty Island as a playable addition in an update to THIS Spider-Man 2, for the 20th anniversary of the original Spider-Man 2. Traveling to Liberty Island was a big easter egg in that game. It wouldn't be the first time they added something from that game by popular demand - like charge jumping. Or, hell, the Webbed Suit. What did you even think I was talking about? There would be no need to add that as an update to the original Spider-Man 2 because it's already in that game. That's why I'm even talking about it. How would they even update Spider-Man 2? It's not on any modern platforms and has never been on a platform that even supports game patches. It's not even from the same publisher. I can't even fathom what mental gymnastics you had to do to get there.
@@LochNessHamster My bad, I read it wrong. Since you wrote Spider-Man 2' 20th anniversary, I assumed you were talking about the original. What I didn't assume was that you wanted an update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 PS5 on Spider-Man 2's PS2 20th anniversary. Again, apologies.
@@deltaechomusicnh555 Their point is that the novelty of a helicopter taking you to Liberty Island is kind of moot when Insomniac's Spider-Man 2 has methods for actually travelling by water, unlike the old Spider-Man 2 game.
“Spider-Man has declared war on the press, as eye witnesses spotted him holding one of our helicopters in place, endangering the lives of our hard working reporters!”
I think that’s essentially the point, people act as if they made a whole new game. No. They literally just took the framework and expanded upon it. The same to be in the third. Not only does that make the game design process easy, they’re delivering so easily what people think is pure insanity. Honestly. Tell me what is different besides the gadgets and powers from the miles dlc. That being the newest point of expansion. Nothing. All they had to do was design the story events and collab both environments from spiderman and miles dlc.
This actually made me realize why the game is so buggy when played at high tilt. It’s almost as if they didn’t expect anyone to go that hard. As for the bugs when chaining well timed swings or in combat, when performing a heavy rate of actions.
I spent 30 minutes trying to perfectly land on the tail or center of the blades but couldn't web line to it, due to the angle. I would have kept trying but after a while it decided to fly away and despawn
It’s kinda weird that you don’t instantly die when you go through the propellers, but it is Spider-Man. He's been through MUCH worse. Edit: It seems like I've started a war in the comments (finally) so I'll fix my comment.
Exactly. That should be an instant kill. Sure, obviously don't show Spidey's body getting shredded to pieces, but have his suit immediately get severely damaged & maybe see some cuts on his skin. But definitely no chopped off body parts, even though that's more realistic.
@@danielmontero8200or what Arkham Knight did in one of the main storyline missions where if you fall into a moving fan the game would instantly have a black screen.
I remember as a kid playing Spiderman 2 you could do a web trick where you can suspend yourself between two buildings, or you can suspend yourself between a building and a helicopter that's gonna fly away and make your web go through shit
That's dope and all, but I'm more enthralled by the fact that you can go upside down on a web like that. Knew you could do that while sticking under a surface, but not hanging on a web.
Its a feature that existed even in the first game, you had to hold R2 and try to stop the momentum of the swing and it'd let you hang upside down on any building
Maybe zip lining onto help helicopter is a new thing, but OG Spiderman players knows about swinging on a helicopter on the old Spiderman 2 game for the classic PS2. Good Times😊
Helicopter Blades Here: *Deals some minor damage to warn ya to not touch it but bearable* Helicopter Blades in Spiderman 2 PS2 or GameCube: *Shreds your Hp by about half your health and pray it doesn't juggle you any further after you bounce back a small distance from the initial slices*
“Wtf is that attached to?” Was my first reaction when this happened in game. Proceeded by “oh cool I didn’t know you could do that” and then I forgot about it till this video lmao
@@Scott-tk8gi I'm talking about the swinging from helicopters and the thing where you go upside down if you slow down your swinging enough. There's even a mission in PS4 where you HAVE to swing from helicopters.
@@Scott-tk8gi Yeah, but that proves that you can do it. And again, I have personally done the turning upside down thing multiple times in the first game.
this was a thing in the first game too, just hold the trigger with no forward movement on the left stick and keep the trigger held and he'll also do that and change position to an upside down one like in this video
Dude, how did you do this!? I tried it so many times... Insomniac has put a lot of details which might not even catch attention before someone tries to think outside of the box. Amazing.
@@QuackleGaming Weirdly enough, I've only encountered two glitches in my entire play time and not getting a red bugle helicopter except in a story mission is probs one of them LOL
Insomniac made a great game, but it’s like when you only finish 90% of it. It’s great on paper and serviceable and looks amazing! But the game falls apart a few times when you don’t do something the game or devs intended. It’s all streamlined, which is fine somewhat, but it makes the flaws more noticeable
I t would be awesome if they became a way to travel in Spider-Man 3 by just grabbing on when your on low health incase your being attacked and just need to heal. They’d be the slowest transportation system but they would be able to make you catch your breath and heal or travel to places you need to go while getting something Irl
