Seahawks fan here, we are not afraid of the Niners. We were beating them in the playoffs in SF last year before completely collapsing in the second half. If we play a complete game, we can beat them. If this is really how the Cowboys are gonna play against great teams, then I agree that they cannot be looked at as SB contenders.

They’ve consistently underperformed against good to great teams the entire Dak era. They always beat down on inferior teams and the hype train takes off. But then they play mediocre at best against playoff teams. I’m not sure why anybody ever takes them seriously as a contender considering they’ve never shown it against postseason teams in the regular season and certainly not in the postseason. Somehow we keep elevating them because they beat down on teams with inept offenses like they’ve done this year

Cowboys are PRETENDERS. NO surprise, Dak has been inconsistent season after season. When the going gets tough, Dak needs the Heimlich maneuver, because he CHOKES! Cowboys needs a real consistently good QB, and needs to move on from Dak! Just let Cooper Rush take over or even Trey Lance? Like the Niners moved on from Trey and found their franchise MR CONSISTENT Purdy QB in Mr. Irrelevant. 🤔

What is Dan saying? The line of scrimmage was 100% a factor. The 49ers dominated the line of scrimmage. Now was that the only factor? No! Dak struggled under pressure and in a clean pocket. Either way the Cowboys got dominated in every facet of the game.

As a Cowboys fan, I was looking forward to this. Stephen A. hit the nail right on the head. McCarthy HAS NOT CHANGED from Green Bay. He is still taking the same offense he used in Green Bay and implementing in Dallas. There is no modernization. Kellen Moore was the scapegoat. If McCarthy cannot deliver this year, he needs to go. It's that simple. The blood is on his hands.

He was speaking in terms of pressures, Brock did have to move outside the pocket more than Dak had too. Only because Dak kept throwing us the ball in under 2.01 seconds

In some respects Dan is correct. Brock was no pressured, Dak plays small under pressure. Brock plays big under pressure. Brock still makes accurate throws. Dak consistently folds.

This was a much-needed moment for the Cowboys. In fact, you can only hope it happens again if they play the 49ers again the playoffs. That will give ownership the clarity they need to move on from McCarthy and Dak. It will end up being a blessing in disguise.
