Mahito fought against Todo for Yuji's soul, Mahito wanted to break him and Todo did everything to support his brother. And even tho Woogie Boogie is gone, Todo won his fight. Truly a great brother, and the MVP, I know Yuji finished Mahito, but Todo was just built different.

It comes naturally for him, just as Itadori's empathy and need to save others is natural. That's why Mahito says to Itadori "I'm you". That's what scares Mahito at the end. He hoped to crush Yuji's soul, but he only made Yuji realize that killing Curses as a way to save others, even if selfish, is his right way to be. He realizes that he helped Yuji become the ideal person to kill him, over and over and over.

The thing is, Mahito isn't just a creature or animal, he's something with HUMAN sentience, having only been born shortly after the start of this series, the analogy that he devolved into a child scared for his life works. HE IS A CHILD; we aren't told specifically how fast Curse Spirits age, but its most likely been a handful of months that Mahito's has been alive in *this* iteration. His fear makes sense, in his previous fights there wasn't a sense of dying for him, he saw a majority of them as playtime really. These more recent fights have been leagues more serious before, but he's operating with the mentality that he's unstoppable without realizing that a lot of his fights were cut short either because of him or his opponent(Nanami leaving after lopping a leg off). These fights in Shibuya were his first real prolonged battles, and the first time in which it *doesn't* go the way he thinks it will. His fear here makes sense and is sold exceptionally well.

@@solartravellerHe doesn’t have an innate, even when he gets a technique I doubt he’ll get a domain since it won’t be an innate technique (K and Sukuna have domains from original bodies and not their hosts)

@@Soul.Resonant I think he can stil use a domain as long as he has a technique though it may not be “innate” by definition but a technique is a technique and it hasn’t been said that it has to be your own technique. K used that one domain and it had to have been from getos technique. Plus later in the manga it’s shown Yuji does have some birthright to a technique despite not manifesting one yet

Yeah he’s too cocky. First one: shattered by Yuji, stabbed by Sukuna. Second one: gets careless as ever, stabbed by Mechamaru.

Actually in the Mechamaru fight mahito states that he shattered his domain to make it look like if he was killed by kokichi's attack so he could attack him latter, but he did it willingly

I also agree with that, because it wasn't just the final form I was dissapointed with but also the Domain Expansion's of him and the other Disaster Curse Spirit's, after 3 attempts of Mahito using his Domain, he wasn't able to kill nobody in his field except by ruining Aoi Todo, for Dagon I think he was just playing with his food a little bit, which was why he soon got outsmarted by Megumi and later killed by Toji Fushiguro, as with Jogo I can't really blame him for his Domain Expansion failure because it was against Gojo Satoru, and finally Hanami I was even more upset because we couldn't even see it at all. This is going to sound a little cruel, but I'm a little thankful that his useless Self-Embodiment of Perfection did something useful.

I'm kinda sad we never got to see Jogo's domain used successfully against someone,he only used it against Gojo and obviously didn't work. One of my favourites domain expansion

he is genuinely built different, however we know that it definetely hurt a lot since mahito says his soul is at 10% a bit later into the fight, granted that yuji got beat up after the black flash but it was still the strongest punch he took in that fight, still i don´t think the difference between todo and itadori in durability is that big, just dramatic effect imo

@@luccapunzone110 theres an actual reason. Itadori is the child of a human and a curse. Thats why his attributes are so high even without cursed energy enhancement, unlike Todo who is strong, but still within a humans regular limit.

@@luccapunzone110Itadori is that far ahead of Todo, todo said that he was gonna get left behind if he didn’t bring out a black flash and hit 120% of his potential, it’s fair to say that Yuji at the point is well above todo, mainly since todo was operating at 100% until the end, and Yuji was operating at 10%

It's never explained, but it's implied he was born like a regular child. He's specifically not a cursed womb death painting, which is what happens when a human and a curse have children.

@@mbrown7325Normally, yeah, but the part of his soul that was in his hand was destroyed by Idle Transfiguration. It's not just needing to heal his body, they'd need to restore his soul's shape as well.

Todo can't be a special grade he has no domian expansion like the others and cant hang with the other special grades.

MAHITO Is basically : l + bozo + maidenless + asshole + tarnished and has a Yee Yee ass haircut + kills fan favourite character + got jumped by mc and mc's besto friendo

gege, gets bored with non-protagonist character easily, so he removes them from his story after he is done with them. that is his biggest dilema. you will see this pattern in his manga. He will also change some of the hairstyle of these characters just to give him a fresh look, he keeps on creating non-memorable character in the future, which is also one of his biggest dilema.

​@@runningoutofnames6956well, let's just say, after Shibuya there's an arc that's as long as Shibuya arc that is basically battle royale + tournament arc, after that an important event happens, and characters get a month of prep time for next fight. And instead of showing characters talking, training, overall interacting out of combat, Gege decided to put that month into a time skip and jumped straight into the final fight of the whole series. That's the biggest issue for me.

Yes Gojo did get half of his arm back when Mahoraga cutted his arm but for Todo I don't think he can grow his hand again using RCT because that only heals physical wounds and Todos wounds is spiritual wounds because of idle transfiguration and Mahito is the only one that can only heal souls(There's no other characters that are known to heal soul wounds till now)

That was his last time using it. When he touched mahito, it damaged his soul and killed his technique so he can't use it anymore. Touching mahito affects people's souls which is why nobara avoided touching him. If someone can heal his soul, he can get his technique back, but mahito is the only one that can do that so far

I assume you mean Mechamaru? Mahito didn't undo his Heavenly Restriction. He just used his CT to transfigure Mechamaru's body to tip top shape. Mechamaru still had his Heavenly Restriction, just not the bodily side effects that came with it.
