Yep!! the Itaki Jumbo can hold quite a bit more! Personally, if we had only one cooking option we'd probably go for the shabuki, but I like the way you think! :)
@@TititoDeBologay I think it really depends on your needs! If you are portable cooking in your office, I think the itaki pro is better. Easier cleanup, just one push . But if your use case is more of a dorm , or small living situation where you may only have a microwave, a Shabuki pot suddenly gives you a little stove. If you are cooking for a friend at the office, get a jumbo lol. If you are hosting at home and you don’t have access to a stove top, etc., Shabuki all the way!

Thank you 🤗 It seemed interesting to try it out given that I have to go back to work. I think the Pro is more useful for actual work day cooking (e.g. prep the night before, then push a button during the day). One of my husband's coworkers actually crock pots in her office, so people actually do that! I didn't know it was a thing until recently!
Very powerful. Best rice cooker ever. I never ever use microwave at work. At lunchtime there is a line for microwave. Not me. My lunch is done a freshly homemade.

I'm fixing rice right now for lunch in an electric lunch box. In our work kitchen is an air fryer to grill veggies. I have steamed veggies in the lunchbox but I like grilled for a change. I made a sweet/sour sauce for them. Tomorrow I plan to make one of my favorites for lunch-shrimp and grits. I use my cooker often at my desk at work. Much better than eating out or bringing a cold sandwich all the time. Thank you! I hope you do more. I'm always looking for ideas. This was really done well. I'm going to try the cheesecake. You are beautiful.

If you haven't already, I have two sets of series going on (just check the playlists tab) with some Itaki Pro and Shabuki ideas :) I'm planning on making each an 8 episode series. If there's demand for it (and it seems like there is), I may keep the series going for a season 2! it's fun testing out stuff in these little pots!

@@AndreaCooksatHome It was supposed to be a zester, corkscrew and new olive oil bottle and when we opened, only the olive oil bottle was in there. So we just went with it. LOL
That's not blue, it's purple. The packaging is really shonky. The kettle flex may not work (none of mine did and (I bought 3 items). There is no recipe book inside (nor a link to an ebook). But, the product works well and you can ask for a recipe book from support.
It’s not too bad! Normally I clean relatively soon after cooking so it’s not too bad. If it’s been awhile, consider soaking it in soapy water for a bit and then some elbow grease. Avoid the electrical contacts obviously! Incidentally my MIL soaked the entire thing in a sink! Argh! My husband put it in a large container with dry rice for a few days and it works fine after, but WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
