Final Review video for the Italeri Alfa Romeo 179.
To be short - definitely not a beginners model kit.
Although a difficult and sometimes frustrating model to make, it has turned out to be one of the most rewarding model kits I have ever put together.
A very special 80s F1 race car that now sits proudly on my shelf for display.
If you can still get your hands on one and are up for the challenge this model is for you! Enjoy!

That's an excellent build well done, I have the original of this, the Protar boxed one plus the other they did and all the Ferrari's, they're a challenge to do defiantely.

What aluminium paint did you use fir the chassis?

I used Alclad Polished Aluminum David...and quite a bit of it too! Cheers Mark

@@MKCAUTOMODELWORKS Can the Alclad be buffed for shine and does it need to be sealed? Also do you use a primer first? Thanks, Dave.

@@davidbishop1570 Yes you can buff for shine...sealing is not recommended on alclad chrome and polished aluminum...yes prime then gloss black...cheers Mark

I bought the Protar kit decades ago. Opened it, gave it the once over, closed the box, and haven't opened it since. Having seen the magnificent job that you have done on the model, I may open the box again. It is a piece of art, F1 style. 👍💯
