Thank you, David. Unlike the Draken, of which I have seen plenty, I have never seen a Phantom in the air. It is still one of my favourite aircraft though and I always enjoy building one, when I get the opportunity.. :)

You should tell your supervisor to start scale modelling as a hobby.. 😉

Thank you, the decals silvered a little bit, I really must start gloss varnishing before I add the decals. But it is hard to change a bad habit.. 😁

Thank you, Joachim.. The Phantom is an iconic jet and a firm favourite of mine. Doing it in this style of camo is an added bonus, even though it took me a couple of goes to get it right. Now I need to return to my last couple of 'Wheeled' entries, while I still have time to complete them. :) The Phantom took me longer to do, than I thought it would..

Thank you, Michael.. :) I do recall you having a bit of a thing for the Phantom, and I couldn't resist doing it in this camo. It really appealed to me, being close to the Luftwaffe WWII style patterns, even though it took me a couple of goes to get it right. I know these jets got terribly faded over time, but I wanted to make mine looking reasonably fresh.. :) On a different note, I hope to go to the Shuttleworth Model Show on the 18th of this month and will try to take some photos of the show and the aircraft. It is nice to be able to attend shows again, now I no longer have to work Sundays. :)

Thank you. The putty is a cheap Polish? brand (I think), or possibly Czech, that I found on ebay. It's quite similar to the old Squadron White putty and smells just as bad. I can't give you the brand name because both the tubes I bought have white labels right over the brand name. It just says 'Putty for plastic models'.
