Congratulations once again on the 10th anniversary, guys! I stumbled across your channel a few years ago and loved every content you brought out! Here's to another 10 years of banter and awesome amazing Italian cars on the channel looking forward to whatever you guys have planned in the near future! The Tipo Seidici vavole is an awesome looking car. I'm super jealous that you own one, I've never ever actually seen these cars in person, especially whenever I was in Italy or here in the UK, so these are super rare cars to own! Loving the Italia 90 livery, I think you should call the car Ciao Tipo to honour the mascott of Italia 90 Ciao, and I think you're not a true petrol head if you didn't play with Bburago cars, I've always wanted the Ferrari Testarossa version of this Italia 90 livery don't think I remember having one as a kid, but seeing this Tipo been recreated to the toy car brings back fond memories for sure. 😊
I feel your love Ant. I’m just the same over the Uno Turbo. My friend bought a tuned white mk1 in the mid 90s and is THE car that made me fall in love with cars. I loved that thing and the power was incredible for 2 young lads around 18/19 years old( Please don’t ask how we insured it, it was as dodgy as it gets) 30+ hot hatches and performance cars later I still see an Uno Turbo on very rare occasions and those memories flood back. It was a time I remember very fondly.
i owned a 5 door sedicivalvole back in the 90's. It was previously owned by the jazz great Courtney Pine ! Loved it, a brilliant car. It even turned heads in Italy when I took it on holiday !
Congrats on your anniversary. I can understand your love for the Tipo, I still have happy memories of my first cars: Early Triumph Dolomite 1850 and subsequent Dolly Sprints (designed by Michelotti). However, the Tipo, aesthetically, doesn't turn me on, even though I've owned many Alfa 156s and loved them all. They are based on the Tipo platform.
Congratulations on 10 years of Auto Sportivo. As a huge fan of the Italian 1990 football team (the greatest Italian football team ever) and therefore of the Italia ‘90 World Cup (notti magiche), I love the livery on the Fiat Tipo.. looks brilliant.
My first car at 18 was a Tipo 1.4. The car cost IR£800 and the insurance cost exactly IR£3,885.85 which is maybe the equivalent of €8,000 today… so you understand why that number was etched into my mind. Sedicivalvole is a dream car of mine
Unless you’ve driven one, you won’t get it.. sharp throttle, great chassis, quick rack, an amazing all round package, and on the limit… a whole lotta fun.. not the most powerful, an definitely looks like a family car. However very underestimated. I’ve had three, and I’d have another tomorrow!
