The medical system in China is totally different from Western countries. There is no so called family doctor. Most of the time people go to hospital for a check or get diagnoses. Sure people can chose the same doctor if you wants,

Australian here. Costs are very high here too. Housing is becoming unaffordable for many and a charity The Smith Family and University of NSW surveyed the effect on families. They found , one in six Australian children and young people are living in poverty, where even life's basics are hard to come by. China seems to have a lower cost of living.

Re your comment about Pepsi prices here in Canada. Soft drinks are something I never buy so you got me curious. The local 7-11 convenience store a few minutes from my home $2.70 + 7% PST = $2.89 (US$2.15) for a 500ml bottle (17.5 ounces).

Some may come, but not for most people, as they are tied up by their system eg. - financially (debt, mortgages, pensions, property) as well as family and friends. The other question is what job can they get in China that can pay them enough to settle their financial obligations back home? If you are smart, owe no debts but just favours, then you can be as free as a bird to choose where in the world to live.

Yes, they should regulate the electric bikes parking on the pavement and zipping around silently on the pavements. It is too dangerous for pedestrians. Build sheltered parking for them and move them away, forbid the traffic on the pavements.
